Love the game so far, myself and my other half just bought the game, When closing the shop to tally up, I wish the time would stop. At least then, you would have a chance to count your money, bank it and get some sleep. With the time as fast as it is, you just don't get to do sleep tbh. Also, I have noticed that when the |shop gets busy, the game tends to lag and gets jittery (I do have a decent PC, if you're questioning it lol) I also think the icon colours for when a machine breaks down needs changing, I redecorated my walls to blue, and I couldn't see the icons, as they were the same colour, so had to change them to a lighter colour. But other than that, are there going to be more locations and more upgrades for any forthcoming updates? Would love to see more... Keep up the great work...Love it <3

Laundromat Simulator is a business simulation game developed and published by Mammalian Machine that proves even the most ordinary profession can become the foundation for an engaging management experience. Instead of focusing on glamorous industries or fast-paced action, the game challenges players to build a successful chain of self-service laundromats from humble beginnings. Starting with a modest establishment, players gradually transform their business into a thriving enterprise through careful financial decisions, consistent maintenance, and strategic expansion. The concept may sound simple, but its appeal lies in the satisfaction of watching a small operation steadily evolve into a profitable network of well-managed locations. The gameplay centers on balancing day-to-day responsibilities with long-term growth. Every decision, from purchasing new washing machines and dryers to arranging furniture and improving the overall appearance of the laundromat, contributes to customer satisfaction and business performance. Profits earned from daily operations can be reinvested into modern equipment, cosmetic upgrades, or entirely new stores, creating a rewarding progression system that constantly encourages players to think ahead. The game succeeds in making routine tasks feel meaningful, as each improvement directly influences the efficiency and popularity of the business. Unlike many management simulators that automate much of the work, Laundromat Simulator keeps players actively involved in operating their establishments. Floors must be cleaned, trash collected, machines repaired, and coin boxes emptied to keep everything functioning smoothly. Neglecting these responsibilities can negatively impact customer experiences, making regular upkeep just as important as financial planning. As additional laundromats are unlocked, the challenge naturally increases, requiring players to juggle multiple businesses while maintaining consistent service quality across every location. This balance between manual involvement and strategic management gives the simulation a satisfying rhythm that rewards organization and attention to detail. The presentation complements the game's relaxed atmosphere with bright visuals and a straightforward first-person perspective that places players directly inside their businesses. The environments are inviting, and the interface is easy to understand, allowing newcomers to quickly learn the mechanics without feeling overwhelmed. Customization options also add personality to each laundromat, giving players the freedom to create stores that are both practical and visually appealing. While the graphics prioritize function over realism, they effectively reinforce the cozy and accessible nature of the experience. Although the core gameplay is enjoyable, the experience is held back by technical issues that occasionally interrupt the otherwise satisfying progression. Performance slowdowns, bugs, and inconsistent customer behavior can become more noticeable as businesses expand, reducing the smoothness of managing larger operations. Some players may also find that the available activities become repetitive during longer sessions, especially after establishing a stable source of income. Fortunately, the underlying management mechanics remain entertaining enough to encourage continued play, particularly for fans who enjoy relaxing simulation games built around gradual progression rather than constant excitement. Overall, Laundromat Simulator delivers a pleasant and rewarding business management experience by transforming a familiar everyday service into an enjoyable entrepreneurial challenge. Its combination of financial planning, hands-on maintenance, customization, and expansion creates a gameplay loop that is easy to learn while remaining engaging over time. Although technical shortcomings and occasional repetition prevent it from reaching the highest tier of simulation games, the strong foundation and satisfying sense of progression make it a worthwhile choice for players who appreciate slower-paced management titles. With continued refinement and additional content, it has the potential to become an even more compelling simulation in the future. Rating: 5/10
If someone asks me about this game, I’d say: “Only buy this if you’re okay with potentially unstable performance and are comfortable with the possibility that the game may not receive any ongoing support. Otherwise, likely worth waiting for patches or choosing a more mature simulation alternative.”
Appears abandoned and after playing for 4 hours I see why the dev would abandon this piece of junk. To start with, I rate it as a kindergarten level simulator. 90% of what you do is just run around collecting money from all of the machines, pretty simplistic. There's not much variety in this sim. Then the biggest issue for a very basic game is its ability to maintain 60 fps. In my 4 hr stream I had to save and reload the game 3 times just to reset the fps to 60 after the fps had dipped down into the low 20's.
Needs controller support
Its very fun
In it's current state, I would not recommend this game. It needs serious optimization after 2-3 days in game. Save/Load Scrubbing is required to play and sometimes even shutting down and restating game.
Great game just needs updated more
