Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Sep 14 → 0.25/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

super good old school jrpg style! some great puzzle and HUGE story and map!
I'm enjoying pretty well the game. There are a lot of things to do, the history is rolling pretty well too, the graphics are loyal to the retro rpgs. The developers did an amazing job by making this Last Dream WU. But, of course there's some cons, cons that drives me crazy while i'm playing it. Most of the enemies love putting negatives status in your party, that's something boring. Of course, there must be enemies whom put negative status on you, but not all the time. Other thing is, i think it should or have the option to change the battle system, i'm not used to play in the "wait mode" just like FF I or II, i'm used to playing the "active mode" like FF IV V or VI. Other thing that would be interesting to put in the game, is the option to buy magics or techiniques just like FF. I think it is something that miss in the game.

I loved Last Dream, playing it all the way through the end and getting all achievements except for the most obscure. Last Dream: World Unknown is a separate game but is a continuation of the story of Last Dream, sort of. The party is the same, but they are taken to a different world full of its own problems. There is more to do; more to find; more to explore! Go fishing in the ocean, fresh water, or ice water. Seek out treasures and recipes to craft powerful items. Fight in the arena or gamble at the casino! Each dungeon is long and rewarding, packed with treasures to find and monsters to defeat. The typical dungeon takes me an hour or two to explore, especially when hunting for all the treasures. It's been pretty easy for me because I ported my team from Last Dream "as is", which makes them far more powerful than the enemies at the beginning. However, there are plenty of options for people who want a greater challenge, even if using their original party. For me, it's more about the story and exploration than the actual challenge, so this suits me just fine.
So..finally i finished this game! It was an ok game, but for me it was not as good as the 1. game of yours and the negative points overshadowed sadly the positives one. Positive: - I still liked your combat-system. - Some new spells and so on were nice. - Fitting music and locations. Negative: - As much as i loved the combat, the story was rly not good this time. So many questions of me were not answered at all..bout the vanir..what happend in between those cutscenes? - The difficulty was rly weird and for most of the game it was not fitting. - I brought my equip and lvls from the 1. game and the 1. half of the game was kinda SUPER easy. Later it was ok challenging (the extra and super bosses for the merc guild). The super dungeon was very hard...but the FINAL endboss 2. form was super NUTS! Such bad balancing..i came there with lvl 165 or so..but had to grind to lvl 215+ to have a chance! Imagine beating MT-Agni on lvl 160+ and then nearly had to grind 60 more lvls? That was not well done at all. - The Whitemage as a healer was too weak in the end. Only items that healed 100% could keep my party alive :( - The few dialogues in the game were not proper written. It always felt not very intresting and fine like the 1. game: - The new status-systems were not rly fun. Uncureable stuff like frozen, paralyse etc. were kinda meh. - The ability cooldown system was not good. Esp. later in the game those cooldowns made the WHM feel kinda weak. If i compare those heals with CD to a engy who can spam 100% heals nonstop, that was no good balancing :( - As much as i liked MT-Agni as a super dungeon it was rly tiredsome to walk 3 lvls from the last teleporter everytime to the end to grind. The same could be said at the end-dungeon. Why there were not teleporters? Esp. to the final boss? - After beating the endboss there should be a chance to save before you fight against Astaroth. - Finally the design of Astraoth. A boss with so OP stats was no fun at all. And then always those non-cureable paralyse for 10 rounds and sleep for 4 rounds (sometimes at 3 people?). Also the design that you had to heal every-round for 100% HP was kinda meh, as i said before. Overall the game felt quite weaker and not as much good written and intresting as the 1. game. The story bout the Vanir was confusing and not well told too. I hope if you do another game you will bring MUCH MORE dialoges. More dialoges for the MC and his friends and better writing and better balance too! On hard it was very frustrating. I cannot imagine playing on Very Hard or Legendary. So overall for me the game is at best a 4/10 stars.
Great replayability, easy to understand. It feels so familiar yet original. The expansion is just what the series needed. My only dissent is this takes the number and length of puzzles and overall gameplay to the other side of the spectrum. You can beat the original in hours or days of leisure play however it could take weeks of leisure play to beat this expansion.
As others have said this game is a massive slog to go through. It's painful to play, all the ailments are insane and the game is trying to make your life as difficult as possible. Play the original, it's a good game, don't touch this if you value your time at least a little bit.
Very similar to Last Dream, the first game. While Last Dream, the first game, was absolutely excellent, World Unknown on the other hand... well it feels like the devs went ham on the brainstorming. The theme of the brainstorming? "How to make the experience as tedious and as miserable as possible". Just a couple exemples that bothered me: Every single location, be it part of the overworld, dungeon, even the towns, all of them are mazes with all the means possible and imaginable put in place to make you struggle progressing through. One location specifically forces you to split your party. Always a good time. Enemies that can inflict status effects with the tag "uncurable" that also bypass your status immunity gears Enemies that do damage based on a percentage of your >MAX< hp (so bypasses your defense stat, makes your increase max hp spells/gears not only useless, but detrimental since your healing spells now won't be able to keep up with the damage received) The overall tediousness of achievement hunting (which again was great in the first game) The story? Is there one? So no, I wouldn't recommend this game. Wish I had stopped after the first game (which I HIGHLY recommend to try) and kept a fond memory of, and completely ditched World Unknown.
Pretty close to finish now but still a long time left because now I need brutal grind before able to tackle on super bosses on Legendary. It's not as good as the first game so I guess I will tell what I don't like: - A few dungeons are more complex and generally annoying to explore because there is no "map". - There is less "cool" endgame gears compared with the first game. For me there is only one item that actually is comparable or better. Otherwise most gears have been "degraded". - Less interesting characters. They don't feel as much "love" compared with few other characters in the first game. - Uncurable status effects. Meh. - Legendary difficulty is tedious! Even imported overpowered gear from the first game will require a lot grinding if you want to be able beat the hardest bosses. Fresh new game is not recommended but it's your choice. There is achievements for it so may be a reason to try it. Otherwise it's okay JRPG. So maybe 6/10.
