The world of [LACKGIRL] was planned and launched by illustrator Benio. “Fictional” has been the concept for this work from the very beginning of this project in 2015.

It started as ideas for a “fictional” game setting. Then, the world evolved into a “fictional” TV anime series. Finally, it developed into a “fictional” theatrical anime film.

After a long time, [LACKGIRL] has finally become real with the support of many creators and fans.

The trilogy adventure game [LACKGIRL] is presented with all new worldview and character settings. We hope you enjoy the renewed tales of the girls.

STORY

Instructional Academy Iris – This was the name of the school I was forced to enter the Sunday before junior high school graduation, when I suddenly awoke to my magic powers.

I wanted a normal life. I didn’t want to become a witch. Not having the power to change my life, I started studying to become a witch. Thanks to the people I’ve met along the way, I am starting to be able to think about my new future, just a little bit.

Everyone at this magical boarding school, Iris, has something missing inside of them. What is magic? Why are we here?

— The girls learn about the secret world that they didn’t know about when they get entangled in an incident.

This is a story of magical girls with flawed minds and their battles and growth.
