Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.56/day in the week to Aug 4 → 1.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Very Good Game!!!! Its Stardew Valley If Farming Was Less Important And Everything Was A Minigame!!!! I F***ing Love Minigames
I wanted to like this game. The overall concept is really cool — I love the idea of generational progression and actually feeling the passage of time. What breaks it for me is the moment-to-moment friction. Maybe it's because I'm playing on keyboard and mouse, but small things constantly get in the way: interacting with the wrong animal companion when I'm trying to ride my pig, or fumbling to pick up loot. Some of the minigames are fun, but others feel like pure drudgery — and none of them come with any explanation, so you end up wasting ingredients (which aren't always easy to find) just to figure out what you're supposed to do. Getting from place to place feels tedious, riding pigs feels floaty and imprecise, and items in my hotbar keep shifting around because of auto-interactions. None of these issues are huge on their own, but together they add up to a constant low-grade annoyance that undercuts a genuinely interesting game.
Easily my favorite Harvest Moon style game. Quite a few life sim games now focus on being twee and cozy or whatever, and while Kynseed still is a cozy game, it definitely has a more adult edge with the fairy tale theme, British humor, and the ways in which you interact with the world. What defined my adventure early on and cemented Kynseed as an all timer for me was engaging with the marriage system. Kynseed lets you romance most adults... including those who are married. There was a couple who essentially swapped partners with their two timing doing unintentional mutual homewrecking through their affairs. After all that, I came in and homewrecked the homewreckers. I was besties with the husband, though, so he showed to his wife's wedding to throw petals for us. Kynseed is providing truly inspirational gameplay for women everywhere. Never let your husband stop you from finding your wife! . . The story of my homewrecking heroine isn't just one of novelty, though, but an example of the kind of freedom Kynseed provides. You get a lot of leeway with how you interact with the game, letting you truly write your own saga as you travel through its sprawling world that still had new surprises for me after forty hours. The minigames, festivals, dungeon crawls, farming, quests, and exploration make the game a real adventure. Obviously, its various activities sacrifice the depth they might have in something with a more dedicated focus, but they are also involved enough to make them feel interesting and fun to play. There's some smart upgrade systems too that encourage engaging with the various systems and also take some of the edge off the grind too. . . The writing deserves special praise as well. Kynseed is the rare game with comedic aspirations that actually is consistently funny. Sometimes it's playing a sick joke on the player (my beloved Truffles...), sometimes its funny dialogue, sometimes it's the various pieces of text you find all around, but whatever it was, I did genuinely read everything I came across, and never felt like it had been a waste. Yeah, It's not chock full of deep character work, a thrilling plot, or interesting themes to wrestle with, but it also doesn't waste your time paying lipservice to topics it has no interest in either. The writing is focused on being comedic and entertaining. It succeeds, and is deeply enjoyable for it. . . Kynseed also has plain old smart design decisions too. Something that is becoming a real bane to complex games is the way they outsource information to wikis for players to compile. Kynseed has a built in compendium you build yourself over the course of the game as you get resources or pick up proverbs. Referencing the compendium thus becomes both a handy tool and a rewarding one since you filled it out yourself. It's a brilliant inclusion that discourages looking up info online because you have a handier and more fun source in the game already that is also paced out by the devs. It's a fantastic feature. . . There is honestly so much more I could say about Kynseed, but the most important is that I had a great time with all fifty hours I spent with it. I managed to beat the game with my homewrecking heroine never having to pass on the Kynseed, arguably a design flaw since I just sidestepped a seemingly important game system, but it also felt like a real achievement to have beaten the odds, for the heroine who started everything to also finish out her quest. The story Kynseed let me craft of my homewrecking heroine is one of the most endearing ones I've had in years, and also, unique to Kynseed. That's what I play games for. Kynseed absolutely rules. Buy it. Make a lineage of epigenetic homewrecking heroines!
When I initially discovered this game back in 2020, it was from a post in a gaming group talking about how it was incredibly cozy, similar aspects to Stardew, but the thing that sold me was learning that the developers who made this also worked on Fable. Fable is a very dear series to me, I've been a fan of the games since 2007. Anyways, once I got the game I instantly knew I would love this game. Some of the things I really love about this game that make the experience: The music. Music is something I actually consider a lot in a game, most of my favorite games always have soundtracks that are one of a kind if you will. And this one absolutely has that. The credits show Russell Shaw composed for this game as well, I was sold. There is so many different tracks for all the various areas in the games world that will have you feeling various emotions. One particular that I love is Festival Green, the music itself makes me feel like it's a warm summer day as a child and the wind is ever so slightly caressing my face. I can literally feel that sense of nostalgia from the song. The Story. Of course, the story itself is amazing, something that you can remember. The prologue starts out and you're hooked on knowing more about not only your own character but all the other NPCs and the games lore. It's similar to many other RPG games in that you start off as this 'nobody' or 'orphan' and you can forge this path and you realize you're actually destined for something greater, it's a formula that personally I eat up every time. The Folklore that's added to it really adds a good touch, I am someone who loves mystical or mythical themes in my stories so if magic and fae is something you like, then you will love this. The humor added into the story as well, whether through lore books throughout the world or through talking with NPCs is something that I get a real good chuckle through each play through. The graphics. Everything is whimsical and pixelated but there's still so much detail in it. The way the NPCs look and their portrait's during dialogue. The over world itself with the greenery and water, the little faeries and debris added when there's shifts in weather. Sound effects of ambience noises mixed in very beautifully with it as well. The mini games. There's a few mini game aspects in here with Cooking, the Blacksmith, and the Apothecary. I have never played a game that had the mini games quite like this and that's what I think makes Kynseed really unique, and the mini games themselves I am obsessed with. I love sitting there cooking recipes I could sit there for ages just locked in making pies or stews or the abundance of recipes they have put into the game. Same with forging weapons or tools, making potions and other various apothecary items. The Combat. This is another instance of, I've never played another game that had a mechanic like this. Most games there's some sort of "just swing your sword and hit the enemies" But Kynseed creates almost a mini game aspect to it that I can't quite describe it in technical terms but I REALLY enjoy it. There's absolutely a 'mini game' feeling to it, and I really enjoy that. As someone who grew up playing games with Dice roll mechanics and more challenging ways to fight, I would say this adds just enough of a challenge to where it makes it incredibly fun. Replay value: I have currently logged 200 hours into this game, and I've done about 5 play throughs. I've made new ones with new updates that's the main reason for starting new ones but I definitely think this game has a really good replay value. I can start a new game and do slightly different play through styles focusing on different aspects or outcomes I want with my characters skills. I just keep wanting to replay more and more and create more starting characters and give them all different stories in my head and in the game itself. If those things I said haven't sold you, something that this game delivers top tier quality on that can sometimes be hard to find is that the developers themselves have so much love and passion for this game and all of the people who enjoy their game. They're always doing what they can to add beauty to this game through game updates with what they've got. I've communicated with them in Discord when there's issues with a save or bugs, and they're always working hard and on top of things despite not having the resources and time that many other game studios are blessed with. They're incredibly kind in that their interactions with me as a player felt genuine and not robotic as well. I cannot recommend this game enough, I keep telling all of my friends about it.
I backed this game 8 years ago now. We are only now just getting an update for the experimental version of the tavern that was supposed to be in the game at launch. It seems this project got away from them in its scope and while it has wonderful art and writing, I wouldn't recommend, except maybe when it's 5 dollars. The real thing that I couldn't get past was the lack of communication from the devs. They were posting regularly for a long time then one day just stop with no explanation and never really picked up again, mind you we'd heard nothing of the tavern update then. It's totally fine to move onto other projects but it's fairly standard nowadays to announce that and get the players of your current game hyped up for the new one. They have occasionally communicated over the years and a bit more when a bunch of copies sold in china. Which honestly sucks to see, the community they did have before then was very engaged and was looking forward to the full release. Which we still technically don't have.
I've played this since the very early stages of early acces and, at this point, this game has become one of my favorite comfort games. It's just something about it that makes me feel good, and I can easily get lost in it for hours on end.
