Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.56/day in the week to Aug 4 → 1.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I love this game. I think it does a lot of things differently and better. My favourite thing is the combat system. I am generally horrible at combat in games, but with this one I feel like I actually have a shot at completing the higher level dungeon. I love the achievements with the little rewards, love the minigames, the character name puns, that there is a love and hate meter on the friendships.... I don't know. This game is great. I'm really enjoying it. I don't think there's one part of it where I'm like " i wish they'd done that differently " It has a lot of content!
Reminds me of Graveyard Keeper, but more places to go and more variety to do. Also darker.
I accidentally sacrificed my only friend for the greater good
Really enjoying it!

i pretty much played all farming sims. tried to get into kynseed several times over the years its just not that fun. It does not feel like i am building "my farm". I do not like the interaction prompts like for dialogues and tools. I cant seem to sell what i have because the shops have limits (i get it can probably be upgraded over time but why bother?). I see no fruit trees to look forward to planting or other upgrades I would enjoy related to "my" farm. the artstyle is beautiful tho.
其他还好,但是为什么给的弟弟称谓是they/them???只是路过普通人都被政治正确创死了哈 但凡叫个正常称谓都不会给差评。
The game took a too dark turn imo once you complete the prologue, I stopped playing at that point
Don't buy if you think you'll be able to play it with your controller. The game never detects controllers on start, even if you set it to be your default. Fiddling around with the settings in-game only SOMETIMES gets it working for me. The game starts you off in your childhood, after which you get a series of fetch quests as a form of a tutorial. The thing is, none of this matters. Dont even worry about not completing any missions or whatever as there are no consequences whatsoever and no NPCs ever call you out for ♥♥♥♥ unless you give them items they hate. You could get to your adulthood and the same NPCs would still be waiting around for you to deliver milk they asked for years ago. The mundaneness of your childhood days is only broken by an event that brings you to your adulthood. I will be honest, it caught me very much off guard and was very well done. It's a great plot hook I have never seen before nor expect to ever see in a farming sim game. However, my praises end there as the devs do not follow up with any form of consequence/effect in terms of how the world changes to react to this plot hook. To avoid spoilers, all I will say is that NPCs do not acknowledge the MASSIVE event that happened even though they should. They just repeat the same lines they've been saying to you since your childhood days. All the shock and awe I experienced from the plot hook itself was completely undone by how flat it felt after interacting with the NPCs. If you were to compare this game to stardew, you'd notice the lack of 'life' in NPCs. They don't have ♥♥♥♥ going on in their lives, they don't have things to say to you unless you give them stuff beforehand. The entire game feels like one big, hollowed out cake. The outside is beautiful (though the character sprites are very unappealing) but there's nothing of substance. The minigames are annoying as hell, especially if you're on controller. I got mods to immediately get rid of them and you should too if you're also stuck with this game. Edit : I have gone back into the game to get to the first date with an NPC. Dear lord is it horrendously bad. It's absolutely bland writing with no heart put into it at all. Literally sweet nothings. Here is how 'dating' goes in the game: - You give an NPC a rose to signify you're romantically interested in them. They will schedule a date for the next day. - You meet up the next day, the NPC tells you 'Lets go to [[Dating Spot]]'. For my date, it chose a location I had not yet discovered so I spent 3 in-game hours walking around with the NPC. All the while, he has this chat bubble pop up above his head going 'Let's go to [[Dating Spot]]' . Interacting with your date will have them repeat this exact same line. - When you make it to the Date Spot, your date will say something like 'Wow this is great you bring me to the highest highs I like you very much. Ok take me to your home and cook for me'. I am paraphrasing, but my date said this. One text box as some form of 'sweet talking', and then the immediate next text box asking you to do something else. - You bring your Date home. You can cook literally anything for them. I chose blueberry jam. - Your Date says something like 'Nothing like a home cooked meal to bond over'. 'Now where's my present?'. I am paraphrasing, but this is exactly how it happened. One line to acknowledge your action, and then immediately jumping into the next task. - You give your Date a present. If you've already gifted them something that day, your gift for this date gets you 0 additional friendship points. I gave my Date his favourite item. There was no line from him to indicate that gifting a liked item has any benefits. - Your Date says 'thanks for the date, I'd love to meet up again'. Then they leave. I feel like giving a negative review is not enough. -6/10 is my final rating. The writing is absolute generic slop, I'd not be surprised if it was AI generated. Edit for the dev's reply: I use an XBox 360 controller. I've scoured the internet for fixes, I've checked the discussions tab and there have been complaints about this exact issue from 2018. The last comment was from 2022 and it still has not been fixed.
Bem...
If you're interested in this game because there's a combat component à la Rune Factory and other games, you need to be aware that the enemy encounters in Kynseed are more like minigames, not something freeform where you're given the ability to move around without restriction. Think Mega Man Battle Network but simpler. I'm not a fan. I don't know how much combat factors into Kynseed. Maybe I could get deeper into the game without needing to visit the areas where combat takes place. The farming, crafting, and lifesim bits are solid enough, I suppose, but I'm disappointed enough with the combat that I think I'm calling it quits.
