I would still recommend this despite the need for balancing. The initial furniture upgrades are no biggie but the shop expansion costing 25k, being able to buy the expansion when you don't have the money, and then you're in debt unable to upgrade furniture or unlock new characters is tedious. I also agree with either changing customer timers or the order in which you get recipes so that you're upgraded enough to where the longer recipes don't cost you in waste or customers.
