Its like lethal company if it was good. I did not like lethal company as it is when I played it back when it came out. Its a breakthrough genre-defining piece of art but it did not actually feel very good to play. Which is where its insane modability comes in (but I personally do not enjoy modding). So how does Kletka compare? To start off, you can actually fight back against the monsters. This doesn't make the game less scary or whimsical but it gives a nice sense of progression throughout the run. You arm yourself with better gear, upgrade your health, healing items, bombs. You also learn over time how enemies behave and how to deal with them. You don't ever get stronger in LC, not really. Your only reward to success is more difficult missions, which is perhaps the point of the game but it doesn't really work for me. Aside from the anomalies, hostiles, and junk collection which are all present in Kletka, there's also the elevator that you have to worry about. Not only do you need to keep it powered to keep travelling down to your ultimate destination, its also alive and very hungry and needs to be fed meat and vodka constantly. This is genuinely such an amazing fusion of game mechanics and worldbuilding. It has its own quirks, which you will come to learn of and love. Kletka is yet another excellent addition to the vaguely east-europian depression simulator, dashed with a taste of the CRT found footage aesthetic.
