I received this game for free through Keymailer when it initially released. The dev has been super good about updating the game. I believe it is finally finished, which is why I finally went back and 100%ed it. Kitty's Last Adventure is a cute little vampire survivors style game. It stands out because it has great theming. All the characters are cats with different weapons, all the weapons are cat toys/items, and all the enemies/bosses are things that cats are typically afraid of. There is a little bit of a story that you get in between the three levels, but it is not not very in depth. The story is more shown rather than told. There are 20 different cats to play as, multiple weapons with different paths, there is no weapon combination though, there are three main levels, there is a challenge mode to increase difficulty, and there are two other modes you can play through.

Something urged me to look at the GX Game page when I booted up my computer today and that's when I found this game. Kitty's Last Adventure. Just the title alone had me in tears and dashing to hold my cats. After reading the description, I immediately took a trip to the steam store to buy the game with the supporter pack included. I've only done 3 runs at the time of writing, but each one was engaging and fun. It's an easy game to pick up yet does have some challenge to it. But not at all in a stressful kind of way- which I enjoy as a casual gamer. It's simple, yet charming and has already carved it's way into my heart with just a few hours of gameplay. Overall a great game and an immediate tear jerker. Seriously - just thinking of the title has my eyes watering! edit: editing this after beating serenity world for the first time and i can only reiterate my previous praise. This really is a great game with a lot of love put into it, I fear this game will still have me sobbing long after I've 100%ed it XD

I may not have that much time into the game yet. But I've enjoyed every moment thus far. Everything from the calm music, to the unique weapons to use. It has pretty much everything you'd want from a Survivor title. I've still got a lot to unlock, but it'll be enjoyable every step of the way. Originally, I purchased it simply to kill time until another game arrives soon. But now, It'll be in my normal rotation of Survivor titles that I play. If you like cats and Survivor titles, this is an easy purchase.

I usually don’t like leaving negative reviews, because I understand how much work goes into designing and developing a game. However, in its current state, I can’t recommend Kitty’s Last Adventure due to its overall lack of polish. The concept is cute and has potential, but the execution feels very basic and repetitive. Main issues: 1. Many enemies are just red or blue balloons with no animations or interesting behaviors. They simply chase the player, which makes combat feel flat and unengaging. 2. The wave system (1/10) sounds fine in theory, but if you die on wave 9/10, you have to replay the exact same level with the exact same enemies. There’s no variation, which makes retries feel tedious rather than challenging. 3. Weak gameplay loop. The game lacks tension and real challenge. At times it felt so easy and automatic that I could scroll on my phone while playing and still not die. That completely removes any sense of excitement or engagement. Overall, the game needs more depth, enemy variety, and better balance to stay interesting. With more polish in animations, enemy design, and progression, it could improve a lot. Right now, it feels more like a simple casual game that might have worked better as a free mobile title. I hope the developers continue improving it, because the idea has potential, but as it stands, I can’t recommend it.
