Kitty Powers' Matchmaker is a flamboyant, tongue-in-cheek dating simulation that fully embraces comedy, charm, and personality as its driving forces. Developed and published by Magic Notion Ltd, the game casts the player as the operator of a small matchmaking agency under the watchful and wonderfully theatrical eye of Kitty Powers herself. Rather than focusing on personal romance, the experience is about orchestrating love for others, balancing data-driven compatibility with the unpredictable chaos of human interaction. From the very first moments, the game makes its tone clear: this is a playful, camp, and self-aware take on dating that prioritizes humor and accessibility over realism. The core gameplay revolves around studying your clients’ preferences, personalities, and deal-breakers, then pairing them with suitable partners from Kitty’s ever-expanding roster of singles. On paper, this feels like a straightforward matching exercise, but the real heart of the game lies in what happens after the match is made. Dates unfold through a series of interactive mini-games that test memory, intuition, observation, and sometimes sheer luck. Choosing the right restaurant, navigating awkward conversations, selecting gifts, or handling unexpected mishaps all contribute to how successful a date becomes. These segments are short and snappy, making the game easy to dip into, but their variety keeps the process engaging as you juggle multiple couples and scenarios. Much of the game’s lasting appeal comes from its writing and presentation. Kitty Powers herself is not just a guide but the soul of the experience, delivering constant commentary filled with sass, wordplay, and affectionate mockery. Her presence gives the game a strong identity, turning even routine actions into moments of entertainment. The characters you match are equally exaggerated, each defined by bold personalities, humorous flaws, and expressive reactions that make even failed dates amusing to watch. The visual style is colorful and cartoonish, complementing the lighthearted tone, while sound effects and musical cues add to the sense that every date is a small theatrical performance. Progression is tied to your reputation as a matchmaker, encouraging careful decision-making and long-term planning. Successful matches earn money and prestige, allowing you to unlock new venues, services, and higher-profile clients with more demanding expectations. These upgrades add subtle layers of strategy, as investing in better options can significantly improve your odds of romantic success. While the overall structure remains consistent throughout the game, the gradual introduction of tougher challenges and more complex personalities helps maintain momentum, even if repetition eventually becomes noticeable during very long play sessions. One of the game’s most commendable aspects is its inclusive and welcoming approach to relationships. Kitty Powers’ Matchmaker treats all orientations and pairings with equal enthusiasm, presenting same-sex and mixed-orientation matches as completely natural parts of the experience. This inclusivity feels baked into the design rather than added as an afterthought, reinforcing the game’s broader theme of celebrating love in all its messy, unpredictable forms. Combined with its camp sensibility and joyful irreverence, this makes the game feel warm and affirming rather than cynical or mean-spirited. Overall, Kitty Powers’ Matchmaker succeeds by knowing exactly what it wants to be: a humorous, personality-driven dating sim that values fun over complexity and charm over realism. While its mechanics are simple and its structure repetitive by design, the strength of its writing, characters, and presentation keeps it engaging far longer than its systems alone might suggest. It’s a game best enjoyed in short bursts, savored for its jokes and absurd situations, and remembered for its distinctive voice. For players looking for a light, inclusive, and genuinely funny simulation experience, it remains a standout title in its niche and a testament to how much personality can elevate even the simplest gameplay loop. For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

loooove this game! 10/10. fun, gay and just an all around great time :) highly recommend!
simple, easy to play and lgbt friendly. some games require skill and some are luck base. really fun to just be observant and put people together. can't wait for the new version coming out next year. its def outdated and i would like new minigames, designs, relatable characters.
Loved watching playthroughs of this game during my childhood, still such an enjoyable game today.
