Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Sep 10 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

First off if you like indy and small developmental teams that create games, I'm sure Kingdom of the Dead (KotD) will fit the bill. I'm giving KotD a thumbs up because it is worth it for the $14.99 price tag and an even better deal if it's on sale! I'm going to be a little more critical of KotD than I normally would only because there are a literal F-ton of indy FPS's to compare it to. Let's get down to it! Pros * Completely unique art style, apparently all the animation is hand drawn. I dig it and find it a breath of fresh air for the genre. It certainly gives everything an uneasy and eerie feel. * The music is great, it really adds to the environment and gives it an extra freaky vibe. I do wish there were a few more soundtracks per map though * The enemies look unique and creepy, most are humonoid-ish, most things are weak to headshots Cons * Noticed some bugs where enemies would be stuck in walls, mountains and other things. This was especially annoying when those enemies spawned other enemies and you couldn't get rid of them because they were glitched * I spoiled by games like DOOM and Duke Nukem, KotD suffers from a real lack of weapon variety as well enemy variety * Speaking of weapons, it was disappointing that weapons don't carry over from the previous mission. Each map you have to go find the same weapons again. Your health is the same way, you collect hearts similar to Zelda which increases your HP and each time it's reset at beginning of the next map. Also, the last weapon you find in each map has a tendency to show up at the very end of the level, which stinks because you barely get to use it. * Why in the world is the double barrel shotgun so awful?! It's not a sawed-off so it should have better accuracy with less scatter. I think it's possible the dev might have confused the two shotgun modifications. * Not a fan of only being able to save at checkpoints * The boss fights are a let down, most are move, point and shoot I'm aware there are far more negatives than positives on this review, but I don't think any of the negatives ruin the experience. They are basically a wish list or a what I would have done differently bullet points (besides the bugs and glitches). I believe you'll get anywhere from 6 to 10 hours of gameplay out of KotD and that's easily worth the price tag. The creativity and hard work on this game really shine and I'm not here to blow smoke up the dev's B-hole just because it's a one man show. I single-handedly tore through Choo-Choo Charles with my scathing review so I have no problem being blunt even to small dev teams. I honestly think this was a well thought out game that could use some tuning up but even if it doesn't get that, it show's real promise for Dirigo Games.

It is in no way, shape or function a "bad" game. It's just not. The art style carries this game. That said, it's very short, the levels are easy to memorize, and the gun catalogue is small. Overall, the game scores a personal 6/10. It does what it advertises, leaves you wanting something more. Where many games are "ok," this game floats around surface level of "ok."
sound design is cool. art style is also cool. controls are fine. headshots payoff.
Ultrakill meets Blood but also it's Edgar Allen Poe. Fun little shooter with good schmovement and satisfyingly punchy weapons with very high accuracy. Even on the highest difficulty a headshot with even the basic revolver kills most enemies in one shot. The level designs with a mix of open spaces and tight spiral staircases and corridors and tombs combined with some great enemy ambushes mean you have to play both fast but also methodically. Good enemy variety and designs.
The game has good music and looks good when it isn’t pitch-black and there are a lot of that. The shooting feels okay, but the game is really easy, and the enemies are very slow. The game is also buggy and very short. I wouldn’t recommend spending your time on it, especially at that price.
Please do not play this game if you have any sort of sensitivity to light or symptoms of seizures. There is not a proper warning on start-up or the store page; but there is very aggressive flashing from weapons when in dark areas. In the first level there is a chaingun paired with a series of dark chambers which means there is a blinding white flash every single time the gun fires, which is about 3-4 shots per second. There are color settings to change the appearance of the game but there are no settings to adjust the brightness of muzzle flashes.
"Kingdom of the Dead" is pitched as an old-school boomer shooter... okay. Well, we already have DooM and Quake, so a "me too" made several decades later is a questionable business model. Especially one that doesn't do anything that the original FPS games don't do better despite being so much older. This is a kind of supernatural shooter with one major gimmick... the game assets are textured to look like the scribbling of a 14 year old art student. Okay then. Hand drawn artwork styles can work... take a look at Bendy and the Ink Machine... but Bendy succeeded because of the interesting gameplay and plot, not because of the art style. I guess the best way to describe this is as a game that was designed by making a list of the features a first person shooter should have, and assembling all those components, without actually understanding what makes FPS gaming interesting. This is incredibly boring to play... the action is slow paced (weird for a boomer shooter, especially considering how adrenaline filled DooM used to be). I never thought I'd call an FPS game boring, but here we are. The AI is, frankly, has the "A" but not the "I". It's artificial stupid. Enemies causing you trouble? Stand on a box. Shooting your way through the black and white tedium, you'll eventually get a bullet sponge boss, so run around and tap away at the health bar until it's dead, or until you fall asleep, because this is just so dull. On the upside, the game does feature customisable controls and resolution, so at least some of the basic, minimum requirements have been met. Unfortunately there's a number of other technical defects and shortcomings which contribute to the game being difficult to recommend to gamers. The graphics in this game are passable, but could be better. And while it's vital for any game to have impressive visuals (gaming is a visual medium, after all), there's more to a game than just the graphics. To be worth a gamers time and money, the game must match top tier visuals with top tier gameplay, and that's not happening here. These flaws make this game fall far short of the professional standards we expect from a modern PC game. Despite not being listed as Early Access, this game is feels unfinished and unpolished and should be in Early Access. Worth taking into account if you're considering buying this. Next is pricing and value. Is this game worth buying from among the 140,000+ games on Steam? KINGDOM of the DEAD has the laughable price of $15 USD, for which you could easily get any number of older AAA games, or a bottle of sleeping pills, although they aren't as effective at putting people to sleep than this yawnfest. For comparison, the $15 asking price for this game could get you games like "Valheim", "Phantasmophobia" or "Horizon: Zero Dawn". Quality, professionally made games like those are frequently on sale cheaper than this. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, this is impossible to recommend. KINGDOM of the YAWN.
This game is a fantastic gem. The style, lighting, story, combat, enemy and level design are all on point. I love black and white/chiaroscuro games that dont blind you, the artists' design here works perfectly. My hats of to you Dev(s), absolute gem 150/10!!!!
This feels more like an early alpha than a game. It has a distinctive art style, but that doesn't mean it actually looks good or the visuals are well designed. The combat is awful, enemies are janky, move oddly and are rather boring to fight. This game really highlights why an fps is more than just an environment and enemies thrown in randomly. There is very little flow to most encounters, the locations are uninteresting and weapons are just handed to the player without much care and and most fights feel very samey. The visuals are unique, but the animations and general design is rather basic and unfinished.
