I've finished all 6 games in this bundle and that includes the 2 that were not ported through emulation. This series is already an amazing story with just these games in this bundle. The only unfortunate thing about this is the 2 movies instead of ports. Having played through the 2 games now I can say that with at least recoded you are not missing much but 358/2 days was a amazing experience and its so sad that it did not get a port like it deserved. You can still watch the movie version but its doesn't feel the same. Either way Kingdom Hearts is awesome and especially with the price this becomes when its on sale it is a steal. Buy it Play it Please
Kingdom Hearts was a once in a generation, Lightning in a Bottle type of game much like Chrono Trigger was for the Super Nintendo, a collaboration of a group individuals at their creative peak that handled this franchise with care, respect and mastery for the properties and legacy they were dealing with. Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2 are timeless games that, like Chrono Trigger can be enjoyed at any point by any person no matter their taste or background. Unfortunately, despite this collection looking absolutely gorgeous it is plagued with crashes that make you paranoid about saving constantly and disrupt your flow and immersion, every screen transition is a coinflip for a crash and loosing your progress, my own experience is averaging at one crash per hour. The first two games were handled with such originality and care and this collection somewhat tarnishes that legacy, the thumbs down is not for the games but for this version of this game.

was given the first game up back in like 2003 for christmas. I was hooked immediately. I had played FF games until this. This was my first introduction to ARPGs. Fantastic Score, awesome voice cast. 100/10 Rest In Peace Hayden Panettiere, you will be missed. I'm so sorry people treated you the way they did. You didn't deserve it.

While the games themselves are phenomenal and absolutely deserve a recommendation, I can’t recommend this port in its current state. I have only played Final Mix so far, and despite making it through most of the game with little to no hiccups, the end game has been filled with constant crashes and audio bugs. The two points I’ve been crashing at have been during cutscene transitions and area transitions, leaving just a black screen with a constant loading symbol. This has led to me having to repeat entire bosses and areas, sometimes more than once. As for the audio bugs, I have been experiencing audio crackling, and sometimes even the audio completely cutting out. I tested three different pairs of headphones, and got the same crackling across all three. Because of these problems, I cannot recommend buying this port. I will update my review if these bugs get fixed.
