Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Aug 14 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
King’s Bounty: Dark Side is a standalone entry in the King’s Bounty series that turns the familiar fantasy world on its head. Instead of fighting against darkness, you take control of it — experiencing the story from the side of villains, outcasts, and forbidden powers.
Choose one of three unique dark heroes: an Orc warlord, a Vampire lord, or a Demoness. Each character offers a distinct starting point, personal storyline, and playstyle, shaping how you explore the world, build your army, and approach combat. Their journeys intersect with familiar factions — but this time, the forces of light stand in your way.
Exploration unfolds across a large world filled with hostile territories, dangerous creatures, and morally dark choices. Towns, wilderness, and dungeons are packed with quests, secrets, and powerful artifacts, encouraging careful planning and risk-taking as you grow stronger.
Combat follows the classic King’s Bounty formula with deep, turn-based tactical battles. Positioning, morale, unit abilities, and spell timing remain crucial, while new dark-themed units, abilities, and spells introduce fresh tactical possibilities. Battles reward preparation and smart decisions rather than brute force.
Dark Side expands progression with new companions, artifacts, and mechanics tied to each hero’s dark origin. Army composition and long-term planning play a central role as enemies grow stronger and encounters become more demanding.
By shifting perspective and embracing darker factions, King’s Bounty: Dark Side offers a familiar tactical experience with a distinctly different tone — challenging players to rethink their strategies and explore the world of King’s Bounty from an entirely new angle.

Quite bad compared to the other entries of the series
W mojej opinii to najsłabsza odsłona King's Bounty, plasująca się tuż obok "Warriors of the North". Sama kampania została potwornie i sztucznie wydłużona. Moimi faworytami pozostają "The Legend" oraz "Armored Princess". ============ ENG ============ In my opinion, this is the weakest installment in the King's Bounty series, right alongside "Warriors of the North." The game welcomes us with a completely unengaging and off-putting intro—I felt like it was rushed and poorly made compared to previous versions. Even if you push through this initial phase, what awaits you is a ton of uninteresting side quests and an even greater number of battles. The gameplay quickly turns into a frustrating routine of sailing between islands just to find specific units capable of moving the story forward. The campaign itself has been horribly and artificially dragged out. The developers focused on quantity over quality, making the game terribly boring at times due to monotonous battles. It's a huge shame because the core concept of the story had massive potential. Playing as the "bad guys" (the forces of darkness) and fleeing from the "good" knights or elves sounded great. Unfortunately, this potential was completely wasted by weak dialogue and boring missions. Although the new locations are pleasing to the eye, exploring them brings no joy. The new units aren't impressive either. Whether you play as an Orc, a Vampire, or a Demoness, the formula remains the same: the game throws massive enemy armies at you, forcing you to desperately search for stronger troops, spells, or items tailored to your class. I chose the Vampire and was happy with the character itself, but the overall game mechanics caused frustration at almost every turn.I don't like abandoning games I've started, but this installment was by far the worst to play through. My absolute favorites remain "The Legend" and "Armored Princess." Both of those games featured a good story, excellent balance, interesting locations, and great units—everything there felt cohesive and enjoyable. "Dark Side" completely lacks this. The same goes for "Warriors of the North," where halfway through the game, we are forced to traverse locations copied 1:1 from the core game, King's Bounty: Legend. The only thing I genuinely liked was the final boss fight. It was satisfying, and I was honestly glad to beat it, as I had been forcing myself to play since the halfway mark. I only kept going out of curiosity to see how the story would end. As a fan of the series, I cannot recommend this title. I especially advise against it for newcomers who want to start their King's Bounty journey here. I guarantee you will bounce off this game and lose all interest in checking out the previous, vastly superior installments. And that is the biggest flaw of this production.
