A unique hybrid between turn-based tactical games and traditional, character-centric RPGs. Knight's Tale is a modern retelling of a classic Arthurian mythology story filtered through the dark fantasy tropes, a twist on the traditional tales of chivalry.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.29/day in the week to Sep 14 → 2/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

If you like games like XCOM or Chaos Gate Daemon Hunters this will be your cup of tea. The good things: - Good graphics with a better art direction, giving a satisfactory visual experience. - Good gameplay, pretty intuitive, builds and character varieties are great. - Probably the only relatively modern game based on arthurian legends besides Tainted Grail - No gen AI. - Balanced difficulty until act 4. - An active community that supports the game. The mid things: - Could use some more enemy variety. - The game cycle tends to be repetitive but it's tolerable. - Difficulty spike on endgame is a bit too much. The bad things: - Voice acting sometimes is just bad. - Developers aren't supporting the game anymore. - Vsync is broken and stuttering in some levels with too many flying leaves (you'll understand if you play it). - The forge system is horrible. The UI doesn't explain clearly that when you want to upgrade the level or rarity from your items it will reroll the stats of the item. Overall, even with it's flaws, the game is great. It's a solid 7.5/10. Highly recommended on sale.

The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 22: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Got tricked by the overwhelmingly amazing rating on Steam and got the game. Then the reality hit me that this is a super slow game where I thought my character was walking and I pressed the Sprint button, only to realize he WAS already running and then now with my toggle he went EVEN SLOWER and started actually strolling. And the voice acting, OMG it's TERRIBLE~ Oh yes, the basics of left and right are lost on the developer as you turn right with Q and left with E. That's the first thing you must change when you play this game - remap Q and E correctly. Trust me, it improves your gameplay. Alas though I fell asleep on my keyboard the first session, I found myself going back to the game again after a day. And again, and again. And I realize I was falling in love with the game. It was interesting enough that the combat isn't some blind clicking and auto winning. The story was also interesting with some nice plot twists - c'mon, you already start off right away as the villain of the Round Table (Mordred) instead of King Arthur himself. Do yourself a favor when you buy this game. Suffer the first hour in silent pain and inevitably mash your keyboard with your face. But come back to it again, you will realize you DO get used to the slow heavy-armor worthy pace of the game. Afterall, this isn't a game of assassins in robes flying off rooftops. It's a game of heavily armored knights with great two-handed weapons.
This game showed promise, but I gradually lost interest and eventually stopped playing. My first issue was the lack of customization for knights. I expected a mix of story-based characters and the ability to create custom ones to complete the roster. Unfortunately, all knights are tied to the story, with no customization options. I came to accept that, but then discovered the 12-knight limit. With over 30 knights available, you’re forced to dismiss some to make room for others. Even if you build a large castle, you can’t have more than 12 characters at a time, which means letting go of early companions if you want to recruit later ones. I had hoped to reach New Game+ and collect all knights from the different morality paths, but the 12-knight cap makes this impossible. Changing morality also creates conflicts with certain knights if you switch to their opposing alignment. Combat feels slow, and the system of exploring maps before engaging in battles didn’t appeal to me. It made missions feel longer than necessary. Rebuilding Camelot is also slow and doesn’t feel very rewarding. I’m sure many players will still enjoy the game—it’s not bad—but these issues caused me to lose interest, and I no longer feel motivated to finish it.
My review after 100% completion King Arthur: Knight's Tale is a good TRPG with turn-based tactics. Characters development is pretty solid with quite a lot of skills for you to choose from when you level up. Story is interesting while not amazing. The game might be quite challenging if you play with a high difficulty setting. It can definitely satisfy TRPG veterans in terms of difficulty. UI and graphics are what attract me most to be honest. I personally love this art-style. This can easily be one of my favourite TRPGs of all time. Recommend? Yes, but be warned that the game may be quite challenging for some people.
In general, this game does a decent job of being a tactical rpg, it just isn't hitting the sweet spot for me enough to recommend it. Pros: - Abundant base-building upgrade system and gear upgrades etc - Combat is understandable even for those not as familiar with tactical games Cons: - Some of the npc voiceovers are great, but some of them sound like they were computer generated, enough to be jarring and put me off. - The choices of fighting companions is limited. I wanted old faith followers for my Camelot, but after 19 hours, not one has been found. Having to always take devout Christians with me was an annoyance. - In general I found the game okay, but got bored of it quickly. It feels closer to a grind doing the story campaign, than fun as the missions are fairly long and it gets tedious as the fights are quite similar. This isn't a bad game. I think people who like the genre would probably find it fine to play. It just wasn't enough fun for me to keep playing it.
TL;DR - NOT RECOMMENDING IT 4/10 Game is okay. Full price? NOPE. Won’t recommend it even to TRPG lovers unless the discount is good. 50% minimum. First act IS fun! The premise is great. Loads to do, many dialogues to enjoy. Great variety of enemies—before you realise they are reskins after a while. The game relies on RNG loot, and there is a strong meta, especially later. BAD. Gets repetitive fast. Undercooked after halfway through Act 2, story- and gameplay-wise. EVEN the voice acting gets weaker. Yikes. Endgame? Nope. Stat-bloated mobs. Zero effort. Bandits with 300 HP :o). Yep. After defeating a demigod, now the common bandit has more HP than the demigod hunters. HARD pass. Replayability? Not really worth the effort for a couple of extra dialogues. Long version The game captivated me when I started playing. The story grappled me mercilessly and took me for a ride. A twist on the classic Arthur tale, but now we are Mordred. GREAT! The premise? You ARE Mordred and decide what you want to do. Balance loyalty, build your kingdom, conquer the wastes, and have religion! This is mandatory. No, you do not get to be neutral here. You are going to miss out on content if you do, sadly. How does the game deliver? Not greatly. The castle itself is undercooked. Your “vassals” are for show, outside of some ‘upgrades’ you can give them through titles. That is it.”. And you do not have any income, even though you are the ruler of a “kingdom.” It feels more like a squad building a base, yet you are the “king”? So am I a ruler or not? Make up your mind, game. I take in gold AND building materials from missions, and sometimes, when the game feels like it, events also grant you SOME, and yet… nothing else? This one aggravates me. The castle itself must be upgraded BY you, using your hard-earned resources. Balancing is a word. I would not use it here. Economical drain to keep you down? Yes! Because GOD forbid you get something for yourself. Nada. Either your castle or your crew. You can be good/bad and Old Faith/Christian, and your companions react to it with loyalty. This gives your companions benefits. Problem? Barely any events that are meaningful. Sure some "click this box" and something happens, but that is it. Sure, there are some, but it is watered down heavily. They tried in Act 2. Then they stopped for some reason. Dialogue, though? The same dialogue you have heard 100 times over. Not much will change, sadly. The RNG aspect of this game is ASININE. One of the WORST experiences in a LONG time for me. And I've played games for almost 20 years now. Wait one turn to upgrade X. Will it be good, though? Who knows… but you have to wait. It is one thing to make you wait, but the COST is also insane. You are rerolling constantly, and the game has far too many bloated stat rolls. It keeps you down, and even lower-level gear can OUTPERFORM level 20 gear with the right rolls on it. That is just plainly sad. Can you reroll multiple items? NOPE! One at a time Bucko! Can't have you get what you want SO easily. Does that mean the game has a form of "farming" space to make up for it? HELL no. You can get ABSOLUTELY shafted by the game itself if you are some down-on-his-luck, mirror-breaking-under-a-ladder type of person. What is up with TRPGs having God-awful random gear and gambling mechanics nowadays? Did you ask for this? I didn’t. Nobody did? Just ... why??? Voice acting - Its here and there. Random. Small number of them are great! Mordred voice actor is PULLING a lot of weight. The rest of the cast ? Ehh ... not gonna lie, not the best. Cutscenes - Not great. The Lady of the lake looks ... "weird" Uncanny valley type. What's up with HER face?! It looks so STATIC! And ROUND. Isn't she supposed to be the fairest maiden of the land? If that's the fairest, HO boy, we are in trouble. Story? Yeah, it is there… it was developed and then it… got abandoned. Imagine a 3 course meal. The entrée?(act 1) Amazing! Great! The main course?(act 2-3) Bit bland but the entre is still on your tongue so you leave it be. The dessert?(Act 4 and endgame) OH nope. its awful. you ask for the bill, and leave. Rush and undercooking are clearly present in the world. I do not assume what happened here, only the results. I want to love this game, and I do. But I can see something got into a car crash here. BADLY. Combat? It is great… for the first 30 times. Then you realise you have seen it all. Repetition, and sometimes sneaky ambushes with mobs designed to chip your HP at the start of Chapter 3, which I find annoying. Either that, OR some random “Diablo mob variant blessing” that nerfs YOU or buffs the enemy. Bloody hell. The sound effects are okay. Not top-tier, but fun-ish? I do like the overwatch mode for melee and the fact that you can backstab with anyone. There are GREAT premises in here. Love, and attention to the game itself. But execution wise? Nada. Meta OH boy. There is a meta here. Once you assemble four or five—maybe six—members of the roster, you are good. The rest? Yeah, the “training” grounds are not enough to keep them levelled, but the GAME demands the levels, or you get bent quickly unless your gear makes up for it. This leaves most of your large roster sitting around doing nothing. Experimenting with new knights means grinding, hoping the training grounds catch them up, or giving them gear that your actual team needs. So why give me this many characters when the game clearly expects me to use the same small group repeatedly? AND that leads to the endgame. Overbloated mobs. Zero thought. And they call it endgame. There is an "endgame pool" you can start investing in. But the stats? Redundant, unworthy, and weak. Meanwhile bob here with a hatchet has more health than MOTHAF***ING ARTHUR WHO WAS AN ENDGAME BOSS HAD. Why? why why why. Dammit. This endgame is the BIGGEST reason the points fall BELOW my recommendation. Overall criticism - I want to recommend this game. But the game is kind of old now so we won't see any new updates to fix certain issues. If you see this game under 75% sale? Sure! Try it out. I'd not pay more than 5 - 10 bucks for it. BUT at its CURRENT price 45 Euros? HELL no. Nada. Take care, y’all. And remember: if a random Lady throws a sword near you, it’s probably a Fae trying to pull you into a scheme. Don’t be like Arthur. Be smart. Walk away. Aquatic sword distribution is not a legitimate basis for government.
It's pretty meh overall. There are some cool concepts and its fun to level up your characters, but the visual presentation is oppressively grey and boring, the exploration is a meaningless chore, the base building seems like an unrelated task, and the tactical gameplay itself is quite shallow.
I don't usually write reviews for Steam games, but I love this game so much, I thought to put down a few lines. Have you played Larian-style games (such as Divinity series and BG3)? In such games, I always get frustrated by over-complex plot lines and having to frequently google solutions to puzzles. I don't like puzzles. I like the tactical aspect of RPG-game combat and the strategy that goes in how to build your party and manage resources. *This* game has all the combat/ strategy/ tactics fun and *none*of the disagreeable over-complex plot/ puzzle stuff. It's just perfect for gamers like me and I can't wait to get more of it (in the form of expansions etc.)
