KAMI is deceptively simple: fold out coloured paper to fill the screen in as few moves as possible. Relaxing and easy to pick up, you'll soon find yourself deep in contemplation to perfect each puzzle. Created by State of Play, famous for their handcrafted aesthetic, KAMI has been created with real paper in an elegant Japanese theme.

I am nowhere near smart enough to solve the premium puzzles lol
I've always loved the paper aesthetic of this game. I work at a small shop that sells lots of washi like Chiyogami, Unryu, Kozo, Kitakata, etc. This cozy little game reminds me of the papers I'm always surrounded by. The sounds of the paper folding and unfolding are so peaceful. The puzzles are perfect and I'm so happy that Kami 2 is finally coming to Steam soon! Will definitely be buying that game the day it releases!
Chill and relaxing, it takes the bucket tool concept from paint and turns it into beautiful puzzles. One of the best examples of introducing ideas without tutorials, each group of levels starts simple and ramps up the difficulty while keeping the same idea. Many times I stuck in a level, returning to the previous ones in the group helped me figure it out.

So good
A very soothing, unique, and challenging puzzle game. Overall it's fantastic, and definitely recommend it, but here are the only things about it I don't like: + The UI is MADE FOR ANTS (tiny tiny text) and doesn't remember which puzzle you were on, so you'll need to scroll to it each time. A minor nuisance + The sound and volume are OBNOXIOUSLY LOUD. There are no volume controls, only off. There is a way in Windows 10/11 to set the sound just for this game, which I highly recommend -- at 25% of the volume of everything else it sounds the same level as everything else. Other those those minor complaints, It's a great puzzle game.
