Great Fractal Flame maker, from the same guy that made Apophysis I think...
This Fractal creator is pretty elaborate in the number of combinations! Its helpful that the program can create some starting sample images that you can then further tweak. Also the option to create similar offspring is great as well.
really awesome program, you can easily create unique designs in minutes and lots of parameters if you want more control over your design. I only wish the GPU rendering was on par with CPU rendering in terms of options. Also it would be nice if there was more export options for batch rendering, I like to keep my animation renders in image sequences and unfortunately the batch renderer automatically converts to .mp4 so in order to keep my image sequence I have to monitor the progress and cancel the render when it gets to the encoding stage.

Ich kann jwildfire nicht mehr öffnen
Doesn't work under Proton properly. Does not use GPU even when enabled. Typeface looks jagged. The Steam page claims "visually appealing graphical user interface", which is absolutely false. The user interface is a cluttered mess that has obviously never been reviewed by a single designer. If you want professional flame software, rather buy Chaotica, which works perfectly out the box and looks good - and it's years old now.
I haven't seen many people mention how similar JWildfire is to Apophysis. For me, JWildfire is like Apophysis remade from scratch. The two are so similar that I would even recommend using Apophysis tutorials to get started. If you have used Apophysis, you shouldn't have much of a problem getting into JWildfire. You can even import/load the files created with Apophysis.
ZEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP
enjoyed it tremendously and appreciate the thought and care the developer put into creating this software well done !
Fantastic program.
Crazy stuff out there, believe me.
