For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

A world devastated by nuclear war. A wasteland contaminated by radiation. And radroaches. ...Fallout. :P
Journey of a Roach is a charming adventure with an original premise. I hesitate to call it point-and-click adventure because even though there's an inventory and clicking on points of interest, the movement is only with keyboard (or gamepad) and a few puzzles rely on that. We've seen post apocalyptic done several times before, but not from the point of view of the cockroaches. Despite the bleak setting, it had good humor conveyed in part by dialogues with drawings instead of words. It had a mix of slightly animated 2d cutscenes and 3d-rendered environments and characters for exploration. The puzzles were very clever with the original mechanic of being able to climb on most walls, changing perspective. But there was an exception which I found really unfair and that lowered my overall appreciation. In any case, I used three hints overall and it took me around four hours and a half although the average on How Long to Beat seems to be three hours and a half.

Navigating post-apocalyptic walls as a bug sounds like a super cool puzzle-platforming concept on paper. Unfortunately, the clunky controls and repetitive mechanics drag the experience down to a very average playthrough. It's got charm, but it's hard to fully recommend unless you're a die-hard indie fan.
Journey of a Roach is a quirky, comic-book-style point-and-click adventure set in a post-apocalyptic world that has been taken over by mutated insects. You control Jim, an oddly endearing cockroach, alongside his goofy friend Bud, as they navigate the ruined, overgrown remains of a underground nuclear bunker to find their way to the surface. The game's standout feature is its clever movement mechanic: being a cockroach, Jim can walk on walls and ceilings seamlessly. This 360-degree mobility completely transforms standard point-and-click navigation, forcing you to look at rooms and environmental puzzles from every angle. Paired with a vibrant, cell-shaded art style and a charm that relies on visual humor and insect gibberish rather than written dialogue, the presentation gives the entire journey a lighthearted, cartoonish feel. Where the experience stalls a bit is in its puzzle design and pacing. While the crawling mechanics are fun, many of the item-combining puzzles feel somewhat traditional, occasionally relying on classic "point-and-click logic" where solutions aren't always obvious. Combined with a relatively short runtime, it leaves you wishing the game pushed its unique wall-crawling gimmicks just a little further. It may not reinvent the adventure genre, but as a brief, unique puzzle game with plenty of visual charm, it’s a fun little detour for fans of indie point-and-clicks. Score: 6/10
