Whoa. The story was really well written. The dialogue was so real. It was written by people that understand the human experience, who understand all the nuances of life. So many things to unpack here. Very happy I stayed all the way through.
Wonderfully written story-based game, highly recommended. It is definitely more melancholy than many, so just be aware.
Interesting and unique game. quite short tho, would recommend buying when it is not full price

Boring attempt of a tearjerker. Bad art, bad gameplay, bad cutscenes, poorly written... I'm quite used to bad walking simulators, but this one is like an emo fanfic.
6/10
this game gives me such an unknown nostalgia about my younger childhood. i wish the gameplay lasted longer, but other than that, its an all around beautiful game
it's a short but sweet game. it tells a story on adolescence and growing up with experiences beautifully.
A little short for what the cost is, art style is great, and I like the story. It's worth picking up on sale. Easy to get full achievements too.
I bought the game nine years ago on a sale and finally got through it on my backlog. The game felt like it had an idea going, but I was bored out of my mind. It tries to be more story based, and I could tell it was going to try to build up to some powerful message about taking care of others and amending what you have done wrong. I tried to power through the boring parts and get to know the characters a bit, but I couldn't do it anymore at the two-and-a-half-hour mark. I could write more, but I can't say I care enough to give a full in-depth review. I'm just done. Also, Catherine is a ♥♥♥♥♥.

Her Life, Her Journal
So, the game basically starts out as You as her Silent Guide, whom she / people in town does not always acknowledge, and her Journal is missing pages. I like how Subtly her Memories change depending on what you decide she should Feel / Think at the time, for this Era of Her Life. But in the End, no matter how many Times she Rewrites her Journal, the End Outcome is always the Same. Spoiler Alert:
The Game has been about Loss. A lot of Loss, and dealing with them. She deals with it badly and can't help herself. To the point, you as her guide, as well as herself, hasn't realized she hasn't done certain things as times! It's also about how badly Disassociation can be when we feel so lost that we no longer care about the World around us.
I think it's an interesting story if you like stories that make you think AND feel, reflect and contemplate. Feel free to post and comment what you think about the Story, too.
If you're into Perfect Game Hunting, this game is fairly easy, with one being a post-game replay -- logged in at 6.6 hrs of Perfecting. If you can't figure out them all by the end, much luck but there should be some guides around.
