Jotun: Valhalla Edition

Jotun é um jogo de aventura, exploração de mapas, e ação, bater em boss, com visuais interessantes e bonitos mas pecando em todo o resto. Seu objetivo no jogo é derrotar os jotuns, mas pra isso acontecer você precisará atravessar mapas que não possuem dificuldade nenhuma e interação zero, além dos coletáveis. E falando em sem dificuldade, a campanha normal dos bosses é muito fácil, com exceção de um jotun e do chefe final você passará tranquilamente sobre os outros. Sai com a sensação de que esse jogo deveria ter cortado as fases e ter sido só um boss rush, que se concretizou pois você desbloqueia quando finaliza a campanha normal o modo valhalla e pode simplesmente enfrentar todos os chefes sem esperar nada. Não recomendo, porém a luta final foi legal e talvez você goste, quem sabe! Nível na escala de divertimento: COMO ASSIM AS LANÇAS SÃO TELEGUIADAS ? Seems very catchy but unfortunately, there are some system bugs. The sound keeps switching between my sources (ntb, docking station, internal monitor amps), multiple times per second. So the immersion is gone. And after defeating the first boss I died because of the poison damage, the achievment popped up and then when I go to the world of the first boss, the game crashes. Shame...I never refunded a game, but here I think I am forced to...

A fun lil game! It's on the shorter side, taking me about 4.5 hours for a regular playthrough, but it's neat. Very pretty look at, absolutely stunning soundtrack... but I gotta agree with the other folks in reviews here saying it's an exploration game first and a combat game second. Your controls are slow and meaty & I found the power attacks to always feel like they took longer than the last time, but mostly you get used to it. I ended up taking on what was definitely for me the hardest boss in the game (Hagalaz) as my ~second~ after the introductory fight against Jera, but none of the others gave me much issue. When you really grok the boss's mechanics and learn how to play around them, then the combat can get pretty fun. Other than her, none of the other bosses gave me much issue, except for of course the final boss - but that one was maybe three or four tries. But yeah, I'd recommend this one! Maybe get it on sale, though. I LOVE the narration, having never heard spoken Icelandic before, and the soundtrack is definitely gonna earn a bunch of listens from me on the side.

Игра красивая и очень приятная музыка играет. Интересно послушать на ирландском (кажется) про мифы скандинавские. Но для казуала, как я довольно сложная. Камера двигается сама и иногда это вызывает трудности. Ачивки для старательных, внимательных людей.

A neat boss rush game with cool visual.

Te digo una cosa; me va más la mitología clásica. Aquí tienen muchos nombres raros... Y la jugabilidad no me ha convencido. No he entendido muy bien porque el juego te guía a una zona y luego, en lugar de enfrentarte al jefe, te indica otro camino y volver más adelante. No tiene mucho sentido. Todo el "viaje" se hace para enfrentarte a unos jefes que... patata.
