Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.86/day in the week to Sep 3 → 6.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Load up your gun, Toxic Commando, and team up in a 4-player squad to send the Sludge God and its undead horde back to hell!
Gather a 4-player squad or jump in with fellow commandos online for pure co-op chaos. Revive fallen teammates, share ammo, cover each other's backs, and laugh through the madness. When infected swarm from every angle, teamwork isn't optional—it's survival.

Unleash hell with an arsenal of guns, grenades, and devastating powers as thousands of infected pour toward you in relentless waves. Powered by Saber's Swarm Engine (World War Z, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2), the horde never stops—and neither should your trigger finger.

Search for vehicles scattered across semi-open maps and tear through the wasteland. Each ride feels unique: some pack serious firepower or special abilities; others come with handy tools like winches. Find what fits your squad, then floor it through the hordes for that pure rush of power and satisfaction—nothing beats turning zombies into roadkill.

It's a CO-OP with no one to CO-OP with, where are all the players? Have disappointingly requested a refund.

People been complaining hard about this one, according to not just recent reviews but stuff I researched online. Personally, I think they're cranky babies who need a nap. This game was a great experience! It stole elements from Helldivers 2, CoD Zombies (from when that series was good) Left 4 Dead and Dredge of all things, but who cares? All the good stuff we love about games we love has been stolen from earlier games, pretty much! These guys made a great game! It's got satisfying sound engineering, satisfying progression, superpowers that feel strong but don't come up often so they're playing rythim guitar instead of stealing the show, the mud and water effects are bangin' and the swarms swarm bigly! The guns feel shooty and polished and the missions don't feel like default spam, but the dialogue and story aren't life-changing so you don't feel like you're missing the art by enjoying it with friends. It fills it's niche perfectly, and does what it sets out to do! The big fault I've seen with the game are the writers and maybe some voice acting. It can be pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cringe watching someone's Mary Sue green haired attention seeking OC go 'UGH, I'M AWESOME' in a firefight, and it's your most typical ameri-centric slop-casting. You know what I mean... unrelatable Hollywood Summer blockbuster voice acting, like the movie version of World War Z or the likes. There's also the fact that you're stuck in a cutscene if literally every party member doesn't vote to skip, so they'd better do something about that. I don't feel like rewatching the same visually impressive but terribly written slop over and over just because the devs don't want to break parties up. Let me just go right to the score screen to start modding my guns rather than delaying me for five minutes before dumping our whole team into the lobby where they'll rush me into the next game before I can respec my gear! But hey, that's overshadowed completely by all the other stuff I've talked about. At time of writing this review, it's review rating stand at 77% positive. Helldivers 2 stands at 80%, and last I checked Elex was about an 80 as well. If you think Helldivers 2 equates to the heinous mess of popin graphics and broken, torturous combat and endless drivel dialogue that was Elex, then I got a bridge to sell you. This game deserves more love. It's light on the cutscenes/tutorials so you can get right into the action too. Give it a shot! Edit: after playing a good deal more, I'm begging the developers to fire the character dialogue writers and some of the VAs and redo it, even if it's got poor lipsynching. If anyone on the planet has ever wanted to emulate the personalities in this game, it should be considered an act of self-harm and said individual should be locked up for their own protection and studied. It's such a fumble! The game, mechanically, is superb! I understand the desire to have the gameplay and fun, chatty, coop action never be interrupted by people shushing each other because they want to hear the story, but games like Left 4 Dead had actual likeable characters and let those likeable personalities bleed through without cutscening the player to death or making the dialogue repellant. Fix this element of your game, Saber Interactive, and I guarantee the review scores will soar. People come back to old, janky, poorly-aged games for yonks to come because they cared about the characters. On the flipside, people will see a character they hate for thirty seconds in a youtube video and say 'I wouldn't play that ♥♥♥♥ if you paid me'.

(Last Used Weapon).

ENG: The gameplay itself is great, but the matchmaking and UI overall are an absolute insult to the player. Want a balanced team? Here's a random party with 3 medics, and you'll be the fourth. Want to play your favorite character? Too bad, there's basically only one solid character in the game, so everyone plays them. Either play solo or suffer. And the worst part is that leaving to find another lobby doesn't work. The game aggressively reconnects you to the exact same party, and until it's full, you are stuck with them. I just "love" co-op games that don't let you see the party roster before joining (no server browser). I want to play as a Medic, but I can't because I keep getting tossed into lobbies that already have them. Having more than one Medic is game-ruining—it's a support role with low DPS, and I don't want to be another dead weight for the team. Blind matchmaking is sheer absurdity; I shouldn't have to waste 2–3 hours just to find a single match with a balanced setup.

Main reasons for the negative review: 1. Blind matchmaking & no server browser. You can't see the team's characters/classes before joining. You have to load in, see 3 Medics, leave, and then get forced back into the very same server. 2. Duplicate characters are blocked = ruined cosmetics. You spend time color-matching all your weapon skins to fit a specific character, only to get forced onto a different hero whose color palette completely clashes with your custom weapons. And because duplicate characters aren't allowed, your main hero is taken 90% of the time. 3. Zero HUD customization. You can't even turn off the distracting crosshair. 4. Missing "Last Used Weapon" keybind.
I didn't play WWZ so I don't have the need to compare. The game feels good to play, the hoards are very satisfying to shoot at with all the weapons at your disposal and vehicle mechanics feel very nice. I played as the engineer class and the sentry drone felt really nice when used, but feels weird that you have a companion that only works...sometimes? let it be lesser self for when cooldown is going at least , this feels weird.. The skill you unlock are all "Now you do 20% more damage yay ! , you can now carry 20% more bullets yaaay..." yeah it's a bit boring in that regard.... But what I found unforgiving is the length of the game , in 9 hours (Id say like 1 hour of that was ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in menus and whatnot) and I am done with every single mission available , the maps looks great but the game loop on EVERY SINGLE MAP is : Get in car, look for objective, u at objective? defend against thew horde, didn't die ? good , now go to next part where you defend against the horde. This game is perfect if you want to turn your brain off and just shoot hordes. The special infected are meh, don't think this will have a good pvp potentional if they ever decide to make one so that's sad. the boss fights are bullet sponges with hordes. over all it feels like there should have been WAY more content besides skins, skins however? oh man , u have SO many , too bad I don't give a ♥♥♥♥ and just want more game to play and not look pretty for the judges of dress to impress. They are working on more maps, but that's the thing about gaming in 2026, it feels like even full release games are an early access and u need to let even those cook which is honestly pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sad.
Game is fun. But currently the game is taking forever for updates, new maps, etc.. We have one new map planned in the 2026 Summer Update. We don't even get a new map in the Fall 2026 Update based off the roadmap. Which means we mostly likely won't get another map until 2027. No alternate game mode to keep things somewhat fresh. Wait for a sale and future updates before considering buying this.
Neat concept, very forced. Vague detail for missions. Long missions. Dumb AI
Very little content for a price tag. Couple of evenings to finish campaign with friends. Endgame is just grind on campaign maps to level up and play on harder difficulties or with another weapon or on different class.. The only progression in endgame is cosmetics. There is only 1 new map in the roadmap for a year, so variety is kind of low. There are no dedicated, procedurally generated random quests or endless horde modes for the endgame. The current mission structure is largely fixed and scripted,. It would have been way better if endgame had some randomness (e.g. randomly generated objectives) even on the same maps, so you get something new to do every match. Or a bigger open world city map with random objectives every mission when you leave your hub.
Not enough content to be worth $40. The missions are too few and too short.
The game is fun but it doesn't actually seem to have a player base any more. I spend most of my time waiting in queue for other players and when I finally find a "group" it's one other person with 2 bots. This is ok on Normal difficulty but as soon as you hit Hard the bots are a liability and it doesn't go very well.
