May you get to play lots of Duke Nukem, Otto. RIP
I had never heard of this streamer or why he made the game, but it is funny as hell and exactly my kind of weird humor. I laughed so hard when I kept losing at blackjack and had to ask for more money. The game is about an hour long, and I enjoyed every minute of it! (Ok, except the shooting game, but just because I played on my TV, and the input lag was terrible.) The Blackjack minigame makes me want to cave the front of my skull in with a hammer. Every other part of the game is charming and enjoyable but the Blackjack segment is a massive ♥♥♥♥ you to the player over and over. If you have a winning hand the dealer matches it and it's push you win nothing. If you have a 20 the dealer has exactly 21 in 2 cards. If you have to draw a card because you think the dealer has a winning hand you get a card that pushes you over 21 and the dealer pulls out a 20 so you were guaranteed to lose no matter what you did. Lose all your money, exit the blackjack table, ask Mr Green for more money, lose again, repeat for the next 3 hours. Most of my playtime is me losing at blackjack. I love this game and I despise Blackjack.
free point & click adventure with some fmv. unfortunately, it's based on some youtube/twitch/whoknowswhat person I'm blissfully unaware of, instantly making it unappealing (and the 500 positive reviews a joke), and that's before the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ mini-games even enter the picture. nothing more fun than random blackjack blocking progress, the only options being perseverance or save-scumming, and of course what I took to be a reference to mad dog mccree, a shooting gallery where you have to beat the high score. frustrating but still not as much as the boss fight in mad dog, mainly because I quit here after the second failed attempt. the lazy dev, instead of providing in-game solutions to the problems they themselves created, advised save-scumming for blackjack and using a 3rd-party mouse aiming software to pass the shooting section. ♥♥♥♥ off. typewriter effect for the tiny text, have to click every sentence to make them appear faster. full screen isn't full either, lots of blackness on all sides for no reason other than incompetence. no hotspot indicator, gotta move the mouse all over to see what's clickable. only lmb works, brings up use, talk to and look at where applicable (or not applicable), can't double-click for an instant location change but hey, there's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ maze, something no adventure game ever needs. and while voiceovers got patched in, half the lines are either bugged or missing. furthermore, alt+tab doesn't work for some unfathomable reason and the main menu takes a while to appear every single time, after an unskippable logo and an unskippable 'somewhere in the desert' scene. every. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. time. why? to be fair, there are some positives, as much as absolutely mandatory basic functionality can be considered a positive, and not nearly enough to make up for everything else. the graphics are fine, mouse in the menu (seen so-called point & clicks without mouse support, so it's not always a given), resizable windowed mode, separate volumes for music, sfx and speech, and a colorblind puzzle toggle. you can also save and load anytime, there's an autosave (not indicated) and 5 slots (no overwrite confirmation).
Had no idea who Jerma was and purely played out of boredom. Ended up enjoying it a lot and laughing at various jokes and moments. Very good game for anyone (even if they don't watch who it's based on).
A completely accurate 1:1 simulation of trying to manage a short, clinically insane internet man. I loaded this up expecting a cute indie point and click. Instead, I got trapped inside the Jerma Manor.
