Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Sep 3 → 4.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

7/10 Game is solid but the gameplay part drags too long for the horror to be worth it, game coulda been easily 20 minutes less and it woulda hit just as hard.
Very fun. It is like FNAF but better! Crazy how people want so many eggs! So stressful and fun!
Jeffrey Eggstein is the kind of independent game that embraces absurdity from the moment its title appears on the screen. Developed and published by Grabba Guild Games LLC, it presents players with the unusual task of managing an illegal egg-smuggling enterprise while slowly unraveling a narrative filled with unsettling undertones. What initially appears to be a lighthearted joke quickly reveals itself as a hybrid of arcade management gameplay and psychological horror, creating an experience that is difficult to compare to anything else currently available on Steam. The gameplay revolves around sorting and distributing eggs to a growing list of customers before your reputation collapses. The mechanics are intentionally straightforward, relying on quick mouse inputs and efficient multitasking rather than complex control schemes. However, simplicity does not mean the game lacks challenge. As players advance through its thirty-five levels spread across five chapters, new obstacles emerge that steadily increase the pressure. Every stage introduces additional factors to monitor, turning what starts as a manageable routine into a frantic balancing act where mistakes become increasingly costly. One of the game's strongest qualities is how it continuously evolves its premise. Jeffrey's rise as an infamous egg trafficker takes him through multiple scenarios, each introducing unique hazards and gameplay twists. The Steam description highlights encounters with assassins, police investigations, media scrutiny, and other complications tied to his criminal activities. These additions prevent the experience from becoming repetitive and provide a consistent sense of progression. The developers clearly understand that variety is essential in a game centered on a single core mechanic, and they make a conscious effort to expand upon that foundation throughout the campaign. The narrative element is arguably the most memorable aspect of Jeffrey Eggstein. Beneath its bizarre humor lies a story that hints at something much darker. The game repeatedly suggests that reality may not be as straightforward as it appears, encouraging players to pay attention to subtle details and piece together its mysteries. Rather than relying on traditional horror techniques, it builds unease through surreal moments and disturbing implications. This contrast between colorful visuals and psychological discomfort gives the game a unique atmosphere that lingers long after a play session ends. Replayability has also been given considerable attention. Completing the main campaign unlocks modifiers that can alter the rules of individual levels, allowing players to revisit earlier stages with entirely different conditions. This system adds longevity for those interested in improving scores or experimenting with new challenges. Since Jeffrey Eggstein is currently in Early Access, Grabba Guild Games LLC has also outlined plans to introduce additional content, including more maps, modifiers, and game modes. The existing package already feels substantial, but the promise of future updates makes it clear that the project is still growing. From a presentation standpoint, the game succeeds by fully committing to its identity. Its visual style is vibrant and exaggerated, masking the darker themes hidden beneath the surface. The soundtrack and overall atmosphere complement this contrast effectively, reinforcing the sense that players are participating in something both ridiculous and unsettling. Combined with modest system requirements, the game remains accessible to a wide audience while still delivering an experience that feels distinct within the indie scene. Jeffrey Eggstein will not appeal to everyone. Players looking for a conventional horror title may find its comedic elements too prominent, while those expecting a purely casual management simulator may be caught off guard by its increasing intensity and surreal storytelling. Nevertheless, its willingness to experiment with genre conventions is commendable. Few games would attempt to combine egg sorting, criminal management, and psychological horror into a cohesive package, yet Jeffrey Eggstein manages to make the combination work surprisingly well. Rating: 8/10
Remember Jeffery Eggstein didn't hang himself.
This game is much better than I anticipated it would be. The gameplay is difficult but rewarding, and the levels are detailed and add depth to the overarching story. I absolutely loved the first person segments between chapters, they did extremely well depicting how disturbing the people involved in these acts were. My favorite segment was probably the one after chapter 3, it really set the tone for me and made me ponder how public image is just a facade. Behind that image could be a true monster and we would never have any way of knowing. Humans are truly disgusting creatures.
