Frame skips so badly on deck that it's unplayable. Failing to optimize for the deck is a terrible mistake. I can't even speak to the gameplay, but other reviews have covered that well enough.
As a girl who grew up pumping quarters into arcade machines like Street Fighter, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Simpsons, and X-Men, I had a huge grin on my face the second I started this game. If you're a Kevin Smith fan, this doesn't feel like a cheap licensed cash grab—it feels like it was made by people who genuinely love the View Askewniverse. The first thing that stood out to me was just how many references they packed into it. Not just the obvious ones either. There are Easter eggs, familiar faces, and little details from Clerks, Mallrats, Dogma, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, and more. I actually found myself stopping just to look around because there was always something funny, nostalgic, or recognizable hidden somewhere. It's the kind of game that makes you want to replay levels just to catch everything you missed the first time. The voice acting is rad. Having Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes back as Jay and Silent Bob makes everything feel authentic. The dialogue sounds exactly like it came straight out of the movies, and the humor lands the way longtime fans would hope. Visually, this game is awesome. The hand-drawn art style has so much personality, the animations are smooth, and every punch, combo, and special attack feels like you're playing through a living comic book. Transforming into Bluntman and Chronic never gets old. Combat is exactly what I wanted from a game like this. You can swap between Jay and Silent Bob, chain together combos, call in assist characters, and build your super meter for some absolutely ridiculous attacks. It's not trying to reinvent the beat-'em-up genre, and it doesn't need to. It captures that classic arcade feeling of smashing through waves of enemies while laughing the whole time. Everything about the game fits the weird, over-the-top humor Kevin Smith fans know and love. Honestly, it feels like finally getting to star in your own Jay and Silent Bob adventure. The game is even better with a friend. It brought me right back to sitting beside someone on the couch, playing co-op for hours, laughing at the stupid jokes, and seeing who could rack up the most damage. That's a feeling a lot of games these days have lost, and this absolutely nails it. If you've ever quoted, "I'm not even supposed to be here today," yelled, "Snoochie Boochies!" with your friends, or wished you could step into the View Askewniverse yourself, this game delivers exactly that. It isn't just another beat 'em up—it feels like a love letter to Kevin Smith fans.

brings me back to the good old days
Ill start by saying I love Jay and Silent Bob so at the end of the day I probably still would buy an play this but I waited years for this to come out and when it finally does its got bugs and felt like crap to play they do an update that did make it feel better to play but still had a bug that made playing with a friend on remote play really suck but we push through it only to realize this game is over... it was incredibly short it had a lack of voice lines and really anything that would draw me back to it. If you catch this game between 2-5 dollars and wanna have a lil nostalgia kick go for it but yeah really lack luster.
Waited Years for this game, and was very disappointed. The hit box is terrible, punching or grabbing items is slow, and sometimes unresponsive. The story telling is lacking unless you know the Lore to damn near every Kevin Smith Movie. I got 3 trophies at the start of the game for just doing a x20 Combo hit. was hoping for more substance with the amount of time that had passed to develop this game, but I don't think any amount of time would make this game into something fun which is a damn shame.
i will review after this rub
Fun game. They got the jay and silent bob humor down. Its a nice beat em up. not the best. but fun enough
Enjoyed my time playing through this game. One of the boss fights had my number and almost got me to quit, but after switching up the strategy and taking the time to learn other combos the game got a lot more fun. I loved the art, subtle background and vibes of the game. It caught me off guard with all of the clever puns haha Glad i took my time playing through it, would love to see a roguelike mode or boss rush mode.
