About
Do not be afraid. Or maybe do.
In 1945, a group of Nazis escaped to the dark side of the Moon. There they waited, built a secret moon base, and spent more than 70 years planning a comeback absolutely nobody asked for. Bad ideas rarely disappear on their own.
In 2018, they finally made their move: the Fourth Reich attacked Earth. From lunar orbit came an invasion fleet proving that, with enough Helium-3, megalomania can apparently become spaceworthy. Humanity faced an overwhelming threat — and, as usual, the rescue plan was alarmingly improvised.
That is where you come in.
Take control, pilot, and fight the Moon Nazis in Earth’s orbit in Iron Sky: Invasion. Explore an open space map, survive enemy attack waves, complete missions, upgrade your ships, and prove that one elite pilot can sometimes be the difference between “Earth saved” and “historically catastrophic relapse, now with spaceships.”
Become the next legend of space combat — or at least the person who survives long enough to face the Götterdämmerung in the final battle.

Defend satellites, space stations, and the last remaining scraps of orbital order
Dogfights, capital-ship assaults, and everything else the Moon Reich has coming
Resource management and wreckage salvage from anything that does not explode fast enough
Energy distribution between engines, shields, and weapons — because survival is sometimes just a matter of priorities
Extensive ship upgrade system in the hangar with over 100 possible combinations
Around 90 minutes of video content, including film scenes, full-screen intros, and desperate distress calls from orbital crisis control
Mission briefings featuring cast members from the Iron Sky film, including Julia Dietze, Stephanie Paul, Claus Wilcke, and Irshad Panjatan
Allied and enemy ships from the Iron Sky universe, including Walkyrs, Zeppelins, and the Götterdämmerung
Sweeping orchestral soundtrack for the proper end-of-the-world mood in Earth’s orbit
Moon Nazis. In space. Unfortunately, not a misunderstanding.

The gameplay feels polished and rewarding. I always felt like I was making progress which kept me motivated to continue.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Iron Sky: Invasion is an unusual blend of arcade-oriented space combat, light simulation, strategy, and deliberately absurd science fiction. Based on the Iron Sky universe, it takes the film’s outrageous concept of a Nazi force hidden on the Moon and turns it into an interactive orbital war. The player assumes the role of an elite pilot tasked with defending Earth against the Fourth Reich’s invasion fleet. Reality Pump developed the game, while TopWare Interactive serves as publisher. Rather than simply reproducing scenes from the movie, the game expands the premise into a larger combat experience built around exploration, missions, ship customization, and battles between Earth and the Moon. The campaign takes place across a relatively open space battlefield rather than restricting the player entirely to isolated levels. Missions are scattered throughout this orbital environment, creating the impression of participating in a broader conflict. Objectives include defending satellites and space stations, intercepting hostile forces, surviving enemy attacks, engaging fighters, and assaulting larger vessels. The freedom is not comparable to an enormous modern space sandbox, but the structure gives the campaign more continuity than a straightforward mission-selection screen. It also fits the fantasy of being a pilot responding to emergencies as an invasion develops around Earth. Combat is the centerpiece and emphasizes accessibility over hardcore simulation. Players can use lasers, missiles, plasma weaponry, and considerably more destructive options when confronting the invading forces. Dogfights against smaller spacecraft reward maneuvering and target tracking, while encounters involving capital ships provide some of the campaign’s more dramatic moments. The flight model is easy enough to understand without requiring extensive knowledge of space simulators, although this accessibility also means experienced simulation enthusiasts may consider its systems somewhat shallow. Iron Sky: Invasion works better as an action-heavy space shooter with simulation elements than as a highly realistic spacecraft simulator. One of the more interesting mechanics is the ability to distribute energy between engines, shields, and weapons. This introduces meaningful decisions during combat because additional power can be directed toward whatever the immediate situation demands. Aggressive players can prioritize weapon performance, while damaged pilots may want stronger defenses or greater mobility. Salvaging wreckage adds another layer to the gameplay by connecting successful battles to resource management. These mechanics are relatively simple individually, but together they prevent combat from consisting exclusively of chasing targets and holding down the fire button. Ship selection and customization provide much of the long-term progression. Five playable spacecraft are available: Dundee, Spitfire, Banzai, Canadarm³, and Xerg. Each has different characteristics and combat applications, allowing players to experiment with vessels that better suit their preferred approach. The hangar contains an extensive upgrade system offering more than 100 possible combinations. Improving and configuring ships gives collected resources a practical purpose while providing an incentive to continue completing missions. It is not an exceptionally deep role-playing progression system, but it gives players enough control to make their chosen spacecraft feel increasingly capable. The presentation remains closely tied to Iron Sky. Around 90 minutes of video material is incorporated into the experience, including film footage, introductions, communications, and other sequences. Cast members including Julia Dietze, Stephanie Paul, Claus Wilcke, and Irshad Panjatan appear in mission briefings, helping the game retain a stronger connection to its cinematic source. Familiar vessels such as Walkyrs, Zeppelins, and the enormous Götterdämmerung also appear. An orchestral soundtrack reinforces the intentionally exaggerated sense of scale, treating the ridiculous invasion with appropriately dramatic music. Humor is essential to understanding the game's appeal. Iron Sky: Invasion knowingly embraces its ludicrous concept rather than attempting to transform it into conventional serious military science fiction. Its combination of Moon Nazis, enormous spacecraft, exaggerated weapons, political satire, and intentionally excessive situations gives it a distinctive personality. Players who appreciate campy science fiction and B-movie sensibilities are therefore likely to get considerably more entertainment from the campaign than someone seeking a completely serious space epic. The comedy also helps compensate for some of the repetition that develops as familiar combat objectives return throughout the campaign. Repetition is ultimately one of its more noticeable weaknesses. Despite offering dozens of missions and several objective types, much of the gameplay revolves around traveling to an area, defending something, intercepting enemies, or destroying designated targets. The open battlefield, resource mechanics, different ships, and upgrades provide additional variety, but they cannot completely disguise the limited foundation underneath. The artificial intelligence and combat design can also feel dated compared with more sophisticated space games. Even so, the straightforward structure can be appealing when the goal is uncomplicated space action rather than an enormous commitment to learning complicated simulation systems. Steam Deck compatibility is reasonably encouraging. The game is classified as Playable rather than fully Verified. Its default graphics configuration performs well on Steam Deck, the interface text is considered legible, and the game runs successfully on SteamOS. The main inconvenience concerns controls: some functionality may require using the touchscreen, virtual keyboard, or a community controller configuration, and the game can occasionally display mouse, keyboard, or non-Steam-Deck controller icons. As a result, it can serve as a portable space shooter, but players should expect some minor configuration or control compromises rather than completely seamless handheld integration. Iron Sky: Invasion succeeds primarily because it understands exactly what kind of experience suits its bizarre source material. It combines approachable dogfighting with energy management, salvage, multiple spacecraft, extensive upgrade possibilities, large enemy vessels, cinematic sequences, and an open orbital battlefield. Its mechanics lack the sophistication of the strongest dedicated space simulators, and repetitive mission design prevents the campaign from consistently maintaining its initial excitement. Nevertheless, there is considerable charm in its commitment to spectacle and absurdity. For players who enjoy accessible space shooters and deliberately ridiculous science fiction, it remains a distinctive and entertaining licensed adaptation that offers more mechanical substance than its eccentric premise initially suggests.
