the physical simulation part should be the most satisfying but its the most annoying part yet the core of the game and not because its bad but because it lags I want to like, the core of the game is cool, but basic interactions with any system causes lag/freezes/stutters. Its like the whole turret part is unoptimized. all of these issues aren't infrequent it happens pretty much every time interacting with the core systems of the game. something seems fundamentally wrong, I wish I could enjoy the game, was hoping its a bug from the demo as my specs are way over recommended but the issue carried over to the release, maybe its a problem with the way the game is made idk. basically adjusting any value with the physical part is causes massive lag spikes/frame drops/freezes, happens with bearing, distance, elevation etc. overall makes the experience annoying esp since stutters etc cause jumps in values. I pull lever to change bearing, and game will stutter/drop frames so constantly while the turret is rotating making it impossible to get an intuitive feel of the speed, since you are about to get used to it and then it freezes and jumps like 50 degrees instantly. the fine tune wheel also lags the same way fine tuning a small amount and the lag happens and then it instantly jumps. same happens with the distance when increasing or decreasing the distance lag spikes happen and its pretty repeatable.
好玩!机械魅力!!!!!
Cañon grande hace BOOM
Cool game.
Make your trigonometry teacher proud! Granted, most of it so far has just been taking bearings, distances, and then plotting their intersections. However, it's nice to be able to apply those teachings. It's just unfortunate that we can't make our physics teachers proud too. As others have pointed out, the game as it is doesn't make you take into account things like elevation, wind, or the weight of the shells. It does, however, do a decent job telling a story through newspapers and little memos that pop up on occasion. I suspect these are influenced by how you decide to place your shots. There's an enemy in close quarters with friendlies. How do you place your shot? Do you fire directly on them ensuring that you eliminate the threat, but potentially cause collateral damage? Some reviews complain that they give you a variety of shells but don't hand-hold you through what they do. See that strange circle in the corner of the map with a bunch of gears? That lets you see the blast radius of your ordinance. Choose the right ammo for the job and you'll be the hero of Castile.
Me be tank commander Me like that Genuinely feels great, precision and speed are rewarded. A little expensive tho. 10/10
Bon jeu
отличная игра, затянула
If you enjoy doing basic geometry and math under threat of the timer of annihilation all just to commit heinous war crimes, then I think this game is for you. I had no idea it was for me. I didn't realize I had this propensity. My grandfather helped design V2 rockets for a while, but I'm sure that has nothing to do with this.
It's super satisfying tuning all the parameters using all the wheels and levers, arming the gun, pulling the alarm, giving it a second, and then then letting her rip. Sometimes you have two targets lined up on the same bearing and you can fire both guns at the same time with slight elevation differences, those are the moments that make the life of an artillery gunner worth living. Amazing game 10/10.
