Per me 8.5/10!

This is a great game for $15@Release price and developed by only 2 people. "gunplay" mechanics have WW1&2 era battleship vibes, with more MORE automatics on the loading (a single gun like that (though smaller in size) would be serviced by at least 5 people up in the gun house, and who knows how many down in magazines (Iowa's triple turret has total of about ~50 people)) and LESS automatics on the targeting (compared to WW2, where mechanical computers were already way more sophisticated, so this is simplified obviously for gameplay purposes, and the result is GREAT). The biggest awkwardness is cat animation, especially when it jumps from a moving shell tracker on a map table, lol!!!
Make your trigonometry teacher proud! Granted, most of it so far has just been taking bearings, distances, and then plotting their intersections. However, it's nice to be able to apply those teachings. It's just unfortunate that we can't make our physics teachers proud too. As others have pointed out, the game as it is doesn't make you take into account things like elevation, wind, or the weight of the shells. It does, however, do a decent job telling a story through newspapers and little memos that pop up on occasion. I suspect these are influenced by how you decide to place your shots. There's an enemy in close quarters with friendlies. How do you place your shot? Do you fire directly on them ensuring that you eliminate the threat, but potentially cause collateral damage? Some reviews complain that they give you a variety of shells but don't hand-hold you through what they do. See that strange circle in the corner of the map with a bunch of gears? That lets you see the blast radius of your ordinance. Choose the right ammo for the job and you'll be the hero of Castile.
