My cat kept walking on the map. Went insane after mission 3 and started removing the wrong targets. There is no other modes than normal, so if you're trying to make the game harder play for 5 hours straight and drink copious amounts of caffeine. My resting heart rate is permanently 80 BPM after playing this game. 10/10, would play again.
9/10 A fantastic game for anyone into artillery, maps, coordinates, or Morale Dilemas. My only complaint is there wasn't more; Maybe random off missions, challenges, more reason to use the different kind of shells (I basically only used the HCPE and APHE, only used Smoke when operational demands required it). I do also wish there was just a little more variety per mission; the most interesting one was when your Ballistics Computer broke down and you had to try and figure out how to fire without it, or when you went up against the Enemy Iron Nest (That one was annoying - in a fun way). Final mission was just a little bit anticlimactic; I would have liked to see more of a choice, as the final mission states "You know which shell to use". I only used the other ones when I saw there where other endings. Overall, an absolutely fantastic game that, again, I wish I could keep on playing - But I have reached the end of the campaign and my own wee challenges. I wonder what Tomas is up to
Well Calculated long distance boom
Manages to make doodling on a map, turning a few dials and pulling a few levers the most stressful ♥♥♥♥ in the universe. 10/10
"Your hearing loss is not service related". Fantastic game. Already very good (but would be ten times more fun/ downright addicting with multiplayer). Big ups to the soundtrack and "feel" of all the doohickies.
Loved the campaign so much I played it twice. Hope we get an anti-monarchist campaign, would love a Regicide achievement.
好玩!机械魅力!!!!!
Crazy good game wtf
Cañon grande hace BOOM
Make your trigonometry teacher proud! Granted, most of it so far has just been taking bearings, distances, and then plotting their intersections. However, it's nice to be able to apply those teachings. It's just unfortunate that we can't make our physics teachers proud too. As others have pointed out, the game as it is doesn't make you take into account things like elevation, wind, or the weight of the shells. It does, however, do a decent job telling a story through newspapers and little memos that pop up on occasion. I suspect these are influenced by how you decide to place your shots. There's an enemy in close quarters with friendlies. How do you place your shot? Do you fire directly on them ensuring that you eliminate the threat, but potentially cause collateral damage? Some reviews complain that they give you a variety of shells but don't hand-hold you through what they do. See that strange circle in the corner of the map with a bunch of gears? That lets you see the blast radius of your ordinance. Choose the right ammo for the job and you'll be the hero of Castile.
