IRON NEST is a brutal dieselpunk heavy-artillery game where you dominate the battlefield through a colossal war machine. Take map measurements based on the received coordinates, strain the hydraulics, and gunlay the cannons to unleash devastating blows ⟹ Will you obey High Command, Operator?

Absolut empfehlenswert.
I played and thoroughly enjoyed the demo so I bought the full game, and I promise you I really wanted to like this, but I sadly refunded it. As much as I really did enjoy the tabletop map math, the difficulty curve on the first big mission (level 3 I think) involving counter battery fire, was just too much for my patience. After attempting this mission twice - and calculating all three fire missions in advance on my second attempt - I was apparently still too slow to prevent myself from being killed. I'm a busy dad with a full time job and parenting responsibilities. My gaming time is precious. I don't feel like spending it repeating the same mission over and over again because of a needlessly brutal mechanic so early in the game.
This is a stunning game. One of those concepts which is simple at its core but has been so well executed by the talented developers that it's utterly sublime to play. You command a massive, mobile gun turret in alt-history civil war Spain. You receive fire orders, you plot trajectories, you factor in time, you decide how to requisition your ordnance, you agonise over scouting missions. It's tense but never stressful. It's thrilling, actually, and the satisfaction that comes from landing a perfect shot in uncertain conditions is difficult to beat in any genre of game. Shout out to the mission Iron Road which I beat on my first attempt and actually shouted out loud with absolute glee. I knew from the moment I first played the demo months ago that this would be a day-one purchase, and my instinct was correct. Iron Nest is just incredibly good fun. Oh, and shout-out to the incredible sound design - you will never forget the first time you hear that enormous gun fire!
i love the game, its honestly so well polished, i will say that making this multiplayer or at least a multiplayer mode would be so cool. prox chat and job responsibilities between friends ensures good communication and strategy. i just think this could be cooler with 2-3 players
game is overall is good. also make feel smart ngl after one missin evalation system broke and you need calculate evalation by yourself it seems my math teacher teach me good l use it in here, you just need shot 1 or 2 blind shoot for calculation
