As a 4X fan, making the music for this game was a pleasure. The team at Praxis are wonderful people. As I am making more music now for an upcoming expansion (!!!), I have started a new game to get back into the ISG zone. Instantly addicted again. Just one more turn!
This is a fine addition to the genre. It hits a sweet spot between too difficult and tedious to too simple and boring. I like that one can win the game through election, winning votes by being the most successful and respectible of the space empire. 75/100

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Excellent bug free game. Space monsters are a real problem that one race has made their navy!
GAME IS SIMILAR TO MY ALL TIME FAVOURITE GAME GROWING UP...MASTER OF ORION II !
definitely scratches that MoO itch and runs great on the steam deck
This is just a castrated moo2. It is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ overbalanced that every meaningful choice is removed. I don't get why modern devs are so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ afraid to give players meaningful choices. Moo2 has conclusively proven that strong traits like 50% bonus to production or science, or the creative pick can be perfectly balanced. Also, Space Culture feels wrong in this kind of game.
A surprisingly fun hidden gem of a 4X / Grand Strategy space exploration and colonizing game. Pretty similar to Stellaris but with less detail and less strain on your PC. Simply put if your PC cannot run Stellaris or you don't feel like spending over $200 for a complete 4X space colonizing game you really cannot go wrong with Interstellar Space Genesis.
Love it. Masters of Orion-like game with lots of things to explore. Fun, entertaining, challenging, and can be easy to very hard. Definitely a well designed space-style 4X game.
This game has all the nastalgia of older games of its type, but it improves upon almost everything.
Straight forward 4x space game. I do like the intuitive interface, tells player when certain buildings are not needed upon technology upgrades (creating space on your "older" planets for newer tech buildings), the right side per-turn icons that'll keep all your builds and moves up to date so you're not wracking your few brain cells on trying to remember what you've done. Only ping I'd have to say I have with this game is there is no map builder (export/import), leaving it up to the rng to create a "good" map leads to multitudes of "worm holes", that honestly I'd rather either not have, or limit to 2-4 instead of the 10-15 of them (especially those "unstable" ones that close down but stay on the map...just useless clutter).
