About
“The Mad Virus” has spread throughout the world with the speed of jet planes. The infected are highly aggressive, fast and strong. In a couple of weeks, society collapsed. Cities are empty. There is no electricity, no water, and no food. Yet, there are a few survivors...
Type in the name of the city or town, download the map and start playing! Thanks to OpenStreetMap’s real-world data, you can choose any place in the world for your survivors.
Establish a new “Infection Free Zone” wherever you choose. Set up shelters and production facilities. Adapt existing buildings to new needs. Build new farms and power houses. Establish defenses with walls, gates, and towers.
Utilize your knowledge of the city. What is the best place to defend? Where were the grocery stores, where were the pharmacies? Where would you look for weapons? Remember that it’s dangerous to search the old buildings, there might be some infected lurking in the dark!
Each night, your settlement might be attacked by large hordes of the infected. Fight them off with every tool available - melee and ranged weapons, vehicles, walls and light. Research a vaccine or a cure for ultimate victory, or just enjoy rebuilding entire cities!
Your survivors will surely find other surviving groups. Some will be friendly and willing to trade, but others will be extremely hostile. There might be some fighting involved!

No son zombies. Es más como la pelicula "soy leyenda". Me encanta.
Great RTS game. Still in beta, so expect a few bugs, but this is a blast to pay. It has all the military, economic, research, and citizen mood balancing you'd expect from a good RTS, plus the dystopian / post apocalyptic feel of a zombie flick.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I'm a certified loot goblin, and this game reminded me of that fact almost immediately. 😄 Overall, Infection Free Zone does a fantastic job blending zombie survival with city building. It constantly forces you to make meaningful decisions—what buildings to convert first, how to prioritize resources, and how to expand your settlement—all while never letting you forget that the zombies are still out there, waiting for a mistake. That balance is what makes the game so enjoyable. If you ask me, it's a genuinely fun game. My only real criticism is that its "half-life" is around 20 hours for a typical playthrough. After that, the objectives and gameplay loop start to feel a bit repetitive. Even so, I'd absolutely recommend it. The learning curve is surprisingly gentle, but the strategic depth reveals itself very quickly, so you're having fun almost from the start. Now, speaking as a proud loot goblin... please feed us. 😄 Once you've completely cleared your main zone, it would be amazing if expedition areas also allowed proper looting. Right now, once your home area is stripped clean, that satisfying scavenging loop is mostly gone—and for players like me, that's a little heartbreaking. I also think perimeter walls should provide more than just physical protection. They should have a positive effect on your survivors' morale or sense of security. And since the AI already knows exactly where the weak points in your defenses are, it would be great if there were a mechanic that occasionally highlighted vulnerable sections of your perimeter, allowing players to react before disaster strikes. Those wishes aside, the game is incredibly addictive. Between configuring your squads, adapting to zombie behavior, managing your survival economy, planning your city's layout, and deciding how best to grow your colony, there are always meaningful strategic choices to make. It strikes a satisfying balance between accessibility and depth. The developers have been consistently updating the game, which gives me a lot of confidence in its future. If they continue listening to community feedback, I genuinely believe Infection Free Zone has the potential to become something truly special. And if that happens... us loot goblins will be very, very happy.
