Indiana Jones and the Great Circle

I'm recommending this game for the gameplay, visuals, puzzles, and voice acting. Those people deserve praise and your money. Unfortunately the writing is so bad that it interferes with enjoying the game. This is especially obvious in the character Gina. During the entire Vatican level, Indy is solving puzzles solo. Once Gina joins him, he's incapable of solving anything without her. It's to the extent that whenever she is tagging along, you have to wait for her to point out a switch before you can interact with it. They also messed up Gina's model just enough to hit uncanny valley. Everyone's eyes and expression matches the scene except hers. She ends up looking like a bug-eyed idiot blankly staring at nothing with her mouth agape. The actress is beautiful and does a good job with her lines so I can't help but wonder what went wrong.
