My partner gave me this game on switch first. Had a blast with it! completed the game and almost 100% it. Now that I have a proper PC. I can finally play this again with ultra graphics and 60fps. Or perhaps I bought this game for this the second game just to see Lady Aphrodite, who knows.
Anyway!
Gameplay? 10/10 There's tones of stuff to do. Like everywhere, and the combat is amazing! Like a better Breath of the wild and flashier.
User Interface 8/10 I know, I know Ubisoft has thing for cluttering the screen. Buuuuuut, You can always tweak it on the menu. Problem solved honestly.
Music 8/10 or 7/10. It's not bad but It could be better. This is coming from a person who listens to game OST for fun. So don't judge. The music lacks a bit a of OMPF! on it. Like it doesn't make you pause and just listen to it. But it's not bad. The Vault music is relaxing at least.
Puzzles. 10/10 Gods don't get me started with the puzzles. If you loved the breath of the wild shrines, then you're gonna love the vault. It's a lot more challenging and it really makes you use that tiny brain of yours.
Narration. 10/10 Like come on! This is just peak! Prometheus telling a story while Zeus is being a sassy whining, ♥♥♥♥♥? Who doesn't want that!? There's tones of inside jokes. Familiar stories you might have learned when you were in elementary or high school. It makes you laugh and nod. Need more of this honestly. Unless you're one of those peoples who doesn't like the talking, Then sad to say, this ain't for you. The're's a lot of talking here. Background wise.
Story. 10/10. It's Greek Myth. What more is there to say? I love Greek mythology and this Game is about it. Though I might advice, If you're picking up this game and you don't have any clue about Greek, Then you should probably read or listen to a podcast about it. That's what I did during my first play through. I had to pause the game and research for a bit so I can actually understand the references. And who knows, maybe you'd end up loving Greek myth like me! For podcast, I recommend "Let's talk about myths baby" In youtube.
Over all it's a 10/10 for me. I love this game, I love everything about it. The characters, the voices, the story, everything. I wish Ubisoft and it's team continued making more of this. But sadly they canceled this IP to focus more on assassins creed.
