It's a good concept poorly executed. Its an idle game, but it has a bunch of mechanics that are 100 percent for regular games that are solely designed around creating conflict for the player. In order to slow them down. This would be fine if it was present within the mid game, but it's not. It's right from the beginning. This creates a huge amount of player traps, where you will constantly waste time resetting and getting back to where you were. All because you chose a progression option too early. In genre, where constant progression is the game. Again. This wouldn't be an issue if it was present later in the game. Doubly to this, For whatever reason, you can lose workers in random events. While it makes sense, Trade relations lower. Regardless of actions taken. You could be running your empire through trade, but because Trading doesn't maintain a relationship and in fact has events that lower it. It's... Really backwards. TLDR; The game is a tried concept, but they wanted to add realism and random chance, but it just takes away from the game. It's no longer an Idle game and is a CIv manangement game.
Too slow.

I think that the game has merit if you don't mind a clicker that only really turns into an idle game after a while into the run. The prestige system is interesting and unlocks new features steadily. That said, the punishment mechanics (bad weather chains and raids) are annoying, and the military mechanics are absolutely terrible. One moment you're attacking a country with half your power (explicitly labeled as 'weak') and lose 2 troops in a victory; the next you attack the same country with even less power relative to you and your entire army is devastated. This is after you've already learned through repeated punishment not to ever attack a nation if you don't have an overwhelming advantage because it's a waste of time. It's not fun and, in those moments, it feels like the game is at best entirely random and at worst outright lying to you.
My biggest issue with the game is the RNG of the military battles. One of the four games I encountered a civilization that was slightly higher in military power than me and though I had only six points difference in power and +18% from walls to defend myself, the system just pummeled me over and over again, murdering all my soldiers most of the time and stealing a great amount of gold. The system is broken and needs a rework for sure, and until then I just cant recommend it to anyone - even though its a free game.
A lovely little idle game that fills the hole that Civ 7 dug.
Beautiful UI simplistic and well executed.
I like the idea, but when you get to governement the money aspect makes the game soooo slow that it's almost unplayable! This is by far the slowest idle game I have ever played!!! Also The game don't alow a speedy auto clicker, which it desperately needs because of the slow progress (and NO offline gains) Have kept it open while cooking and cleaning at home, and jused at slowpaced autocliker to get a a little further!!! It really lack some balacing!
