An immaculate and beautiful experience. At first I was drawn in by the world and characters, I enjoyed getting to know more and more about the people in Vertumna. They're so amazing written that I found myself falling in love with them (some in more ways than one) and became immersed as I obsessed over the best options to take to protect as many of them as I could. I always appreciate when a game gets me to feel that deeply, I agonized every every loss and celebrated every life saved and every small win toward a life path that I could be proud of. I wish I could say more but that would be heavy spoilers and this game absolutely needs a blind first run. This game was an experience that I'm going to carry with me for a long time, from the bottom of my heart I thank the developers for this piece of art they made.

I'm surprised I haven't reviewed this game yet - anyway OVERTHROW THE GOVERNMENT!!
I liked how the game remembers previous playthroughs and how it played into changing the story. But I wished I got to see the characters more as adults and interacting with the next generation.
Excellent fun, while at the same time being extremely unhinged. For an at first glance solarpunk society, they dragged some very Earthly convictions with them. I'm on my third playthrough. I got things to fix!
One of my favorite games of all time, amazing story, amazing art, amazing soundtrack. I would describe it more as a "choose your own adventure" but your choices do still matter! It highly rewards replaying and you will always experience new events and dialog. A large portion of the endings are just different flavor text at the end with the same technical ending. However the endings that are different are wildly different. There is a lot of writing though, and the story and characters are very interesting! The primary mechanics are your stats, card challenges, and your mood. Stats are upgraded through different dialog choices and events you choose to do every month, card challenges use your deck of the cards you collect, and your mood is essentially stamina. Game is broken up into seasons and months, you can only do so many actions before your mood is too low and you much relax to regain it. The deck building is fine, you aren't actually choosing that many cards, they kind of just happen and a lot of the challenges are either easy or impossible from the start, but there's still strategy to it, you get used to it very quickly, you can choose to make them easier or harder in settings, and you're rewarded for every success. Game definitely shines in it's story, you get attached to the characters and invested in the world very quickly, you can romance (or hate) many of the characters and all of them fit very clear archetypes. Every playthrough you unlock more information about the people, the world, and yourself. Highly highly recommend!
Gosto de como a sequência de acontecimentos se desenvolvem a partir da minha escolha, é difícil algum jogo me divertir assim mas realmente gostei deste! Os personagens são perfeitos, a ambientação incrível e a trilha sonora é viciante. Uma pena que os meses se passam rápido, queria poder aproveitar para fazer mais coisas em cada estação; cada tarefa que faço leva um mês inteirinho.
