I'm still working on my first playthrough, but wow. I am completely awed by this game. The scope of the entire work is insane. It's narrative is so complex, and the themes are incredibly powerful. I've been completely swept away by this adventure, compelled by the characters and a poignant warning relevant to the world we live in today. I wasn't sure exactly what I was getting into when I started, but frankly, I'm so glad to be here for the ride.

It is one of the most visually pleasing games I have ever played. The gameplay is simple, but deep. I did not expect how emotionally invested I would get. Beautiful scenery, story, and music. Highly recommend, especially if it goes on sale, snatch it up.
Very beautiful little game with charming characters, a lot of replayability and an interesting premise and world. You will fall in love with everything in it and enjoy it thoroughly.
This game is a masterpiece. Wonderfully written, wonderfully balanced. Art, characters, story and plot-arcs are perfectly cohesive and they allowed me to immerse myself in the fantastic world of Vertumna. Moreover, there is a perfect mixture of narratives (politics, romance, desire for exploration) that make this game an RPG of sorts. Replayability is also incredibly high. This is videogame-art at its peak. Absolutely recommended.

I Was a Teenage Exocolonist is a captivating narrative deck-builder that hooks you from the start. While its charming art style and simple card mechanics are solid, the game’s absolute highlight is its masterfully written story, deep character relationships, and the incredible freedom you are given to choose your own path on the alien world of Vertumna. Lovely gem of an indie game! Very fun use of the time loop trope with a lot of lore-filled routes to take. This is the kind of game where doing more than one playthrough is ESSENTIAL, try and get as many endings as you can and put together the bigger picture!
