This game was funny and relaxing to play. I wish it was a little bit longer and I wish I could go to more places and see other things, but the game wasn't too bad.
I really enjoyed playing "I hope she's ok". The story drew me in as it unfolded on the main character's phone, which was an interesting way of reflecting how we get our information and conclusions from in real life. The game got me pretty good one time on the first playthrough, and this encouraged me to play it again. Together with the pretty art style and the mind games it played with me I would definitely recommend this game to anyone who loves games with a compelling story. Great game inkakamu :)
I hope she's ok is a very refreshing and atmospheric game! Would highly recommend! I especially liked the implementation of social media / messaging with friends. I thoroughly enjoyed this experience and after finishing the game it left me wanting more.
The game play itself and the premise is actually really good. The atmosphere is set up very well, and the sound design is great. The ending though... one half of the ending is good at wrapping up the loose ends in the story, but the other is just waaayyyyy out there. I mean the whiplash from the tonal dissonance is enough to give you a concussion. The game is also super short and can be completed in under an hour. Recommending this is hard due to the length and the out there conclusion. I think I would recommend this if it's at a deep sale though. I bought it for under 3 dollars, and I think that was worth it for that price. I would not buy it at full price.
Pretty environment and interesting little mechanics are overshadowed by a weird and bad plot. Thought it was going to be an eerie mystery exploration game like Gone Home, turned into a
cartoony horror where the monster is actually real (which is almost always just not fun)
Also runs really poorly for a Unity game. I hit 120+fps looking out onto the lake which drops down to ~20 when looking at anything else (may be a Linux issue)
Pretty scenery and nice story with mysterious elements.
Loved the design of Näkki and I did not expect the punch at all, that was a nice humorous touch I think haha
Thanks to Inkakamu for this Nordic experience <3
Decent little walking sim. The social media stuff is a bit annoying though imho.
