this game hits me right in my particular feelings so maybe that's why I resonated so much with it. I really like it, it got me all sad in the end because the themes resonated with me very hard, the ending I got left me a little unsatisfied and I don't feel like spending another 70 minutes trying to find the other ones. I really enjoyed my time with it despite it not really being worth as much as they're charging for it, maybe I'll try to go for the different endings but finding them seems to be a bit annoying with there only being autosaves. why is this my most constructive review
I may write a more in-depth review in the future. The game is very short. The intro is undeniably the least interesting part, and oh my god I wish there was a way to make it go by faster after the first run. The game is very, very creative and artistic. The use of AI is not like you're talking to a real person, no, but it is still impressive in my opinion and made for very enjoyable moments. Aesthetically, the game is phenomenal. It's not going to end up on your top 10 list, but this game absolutely deserves so much more attention. If you like meta / 4th-wall-breaking games and don't mind dropping a few bucks on an indie duo, I highly recommend this game.
tbh the point it tries to make throughout the gameplay is barely understandable. not just that, there are MULTIPLE endings, which i normally love. however, this game does not have much replay-ability for me (personally) because the text commands require you to be so specific for them to function properly. + the fire-pit puzzle bugged for me to the point i could barely get past it without searching gameplay. :(
Really loved this game-- beautiful and visually mesmerizing at every stage with kind of an avant garde atmosphere. I was completely locked in for the first part; the puzzle solving was super fun! I found the language model really engaging, although like other reviewers said, for the second part, the language model didn't respond well in the part where you are supposed to ask open-ended questions. But even with that, i felt like the responses added to the atmosphere of story, of uncertainty and meta interactions b/w the characters and the player? The 3D part was sick, and really loved the questions on the pathing Shorter game (45 min to 1 hour), but that suited me well :) I would recommend this to anyone who likes 'experiential' games or visual novels.
First off, this isn't a typical text adventure. This is, as some have said, a 'meta horror game.' Text is primarily how you interact, but not the entirety. PROS: - Fun, pixel art style - Good ambiance, nothing breath-taking, but immersive nonetheless - A fun, yet simple story with 4 potential endings - You can pet cats!! The biggest con comes in the dialogue-heavy sections. These parts have a few questions that actively progress the story. It would be nice to see more options to flesh out the story more. There are certain points the game progresses to, despite what you type. This is typical of games with set endings, but it's more jarring in this game. However, once you understand the rhythm, it's an enjoyable game. All four endings surprised me, in terms of how the characters reacted. It wasn't a full good vs. evil. It's not terribly frightening.
This game is more introspective, touching on the psychology of accepting yourself. I, personally, have an affinity for these types of games.

If you're stuck on asking questions, ask very generic questions about the environment. Like, what do you think about X?
If you enjoy psychological horror and a possible existential crisis, you will enjoy this game!
