I liked the atmosphere, the vibe, and the bae robot companion. My only criticism of the game is that lifting yourself up ledges takes a bit too long. It makes the main mechanic feel a bit tedious after awhile.
A tight, confident exploration game. The setting and movement are similar to Stray, but way less tedious and without the bloat of hostile enemies. While playing, I was pleasantly reminded of The Last Guardian and Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter though those are very different games. This is that mythical “shorter game with worse graphics” we’ve been clamoring for, and we’re not kidding. I played this via GameNative on a Retroid Pocket 6 without issue.

Hypogea is a short but memorable atmospheric 3D platformer with excellent movement mechanics and a captivating sense of exploration. Traversing its mysterious underground megastructure is consistently rewarding thanks to the smooth controls, clever level design, and striking industrial atmosphere. Take the time to find every recollection and artifact to piece together the game's subtle environmental storytelling. If you enjoy exploration-focused platformers with unique movement and immersive world-building, Hypogea is absolutely worth its price—a true hidden gem.
Short and sweet atmospheric platformer. There's some really clever mechanics in here and the level design is tight and guides you towards your goals very naturally. I really enjoyed the ambiance of the levels and the robots are all very charming.
The game isn't bad, but it's not the best either. It's all right, mediocre, bland. If you want a tight platformer with similar aesthetics, go play Lorn's Lure instead. I'd rate this 2.5 out of 5 if possible. And since my rating is exactly in the middle, I have to go by how entertained I felt playing it. And I didn't have that much fun, to be honest. So it's a no to me.
A short but very very sweet game about two lil robot guys. I was surprised by the consistency of the overall game! It moves, it looks and it sounds amazing from start to end. The only few gripes I could say are, that the movement sometimes bugs out and does something weird, but that is a very minor problem. The sound design gets kinda weak towards the ending of the game, but im including that only because of how it compares to the enormous amount of effort put into this game. SPOILERS: I also havent found the ending very sad, because like... cant the other robot just grab another battery? lol There were a few still in the elevator they just took.
