Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

About The Game:
Hyper Team Recon is an adorable 3D platformer about three aliens and their adventure across Earth! Three energetic alien slimes, Ember, Penny and Lite, are tasked to travel to Earth in order to learn more about the lifeforms inhabiting the planet, using their species' unique morphing abilities to disguise themselves as girls in order to keep a low profile!
But after their ship crashes after a non-specific captain falls asleep at the wheel - *cough* Ember *cough* - The trio get split up and stranded on Earth, leading them to each traverse through a variety of locations full of platforming, puzzles and combat, meeting a lively cast of friends and foes along the way!
On their journey, each of the girls will make friends with the people and creatures they find on Earth that they can trust! Friends who will be happy to tag along and help the girls re-unite, fix their ship, and complete their mission, as well as let them copy their forms to gain new abilities along the way! These abilities include a glide to cross large gaps, a pointy shell to keep hazards at bay, magic spells from a jellyfish, and more!
However, there will also be some people who won't be as hospitable for their alien guests, ranging from angry snails, evil turtle queens, and even undersea pop-stars! These enemies will stop at nothing to make life harder for the squishy slimes, but that won't stop them from simply morphing into their enemies and using their own moves against them in combat!
Tracking the slime's progress every step of the way is H.E.R.B, a helpful slime A.I who keeps up-to-date with what's happening on Earth, while using the foil collected to fill out his scrapbook, a special book to fill with foil to unlock goodies, like new outfits, bite-size challenge zones, extra cutscenes, and more!
The adventure doesn't stop there! Complete all 3 challenging sub-goals in a level to collect medals and unlock even more costumes, and unlock a secret ending that may or may not be there once you collect every single medal! (Or you might just get a slightly different jpeg at the end of the credits, we'll see)

This really deserves more attention. I didn't even find this on a list of "renown indie games" or something, but rather as part of my effort to literally skim every game listing on Steam in desperation to find something that isn't a bad COD clone, a bad Hollow Knight clone, a bad Vampire Survivor clone, etc. Hyper Team Recon is probably the best game I've found by this method so far. I've seen people calling this an anime-themed Super Paper Mario, but I would add that it leans more into the cute/casual side compared to Super Paper Mario leaning more into epic/intense vibes despite its appearance, even though they're both easy games. Or perhaps you could call it Super Paper Mario but with an ability capture mechanic like Super Mario Odyssey. I almost didn't believe this came out in 2025, as it genuinely, and I mean genuinely, not in a corny nostalgic way, feels like something out of the 2010ish era of gaming. Games that literally feel like they're from a different time are hard to come by, so I would even recommend it based on that fact alone.
Hyper Team Recon is a fun and adorable Platformer, which shines with It's witty and funny writing and pleasant Paper Mario like aesthetic. The writing shine through It's main trio of Ember, Penny and Lite, but also it colorful cast of side characters, who each of them have great design. Characters have great chemistry between each other, which makes experiencing the story a joy. The gameplay is good, with memorable set pieces like the train segment in Chapter 5, the chase segment in Nicola's factory in Chapter 8 and the boss fight in Chapter 9 as a few examples. The best Chapter in my opinion is Chapter 7, which offered good platforming challenges and nice aesthetics. The main gimmick of being able to transform into enemies or side characters was also a fun gimmick, which changed the platforming in good ways, through the likes of the crab or Servitors transformation. The music was good, not much to say. The level clear is very memorable and my favorite track from the game. There is some critic regarding to the gameplay. The transformation gimmick, while fun, could have been more. The game reuses the same enemies/npcs to early on and some transformation are nearly identical or serve a too similar function (for example Nicola and Ohgir just doing a attack around). Furthermore are some of the transformation pretty basic and not that interesting besides doing an attack and being able to break specific strucutre. More transformation should have been like the Bun fly, which offered a change in platforming by changing the physics of the movement or giving movement options. Those transformations were the most fun ones. Overall I recommend Hyper Team Recon as a short, but fun and charming plattformer, with it charming characters and witty writing.

Fun platformer with cute girls, what more can you ask for?
Funny and relaxing! The story is very silly and the characters are adorable. It is fun to run around and use the copy abilities! Had a great time getting 100% of the achievements!
Mix of collectathon and Neptunia. Fun to complete.
An extremely charming game that I enjoyed back to front. The art style is fantastic, the writing is strong and entertaining throughout, I like almost everything about this game. Most of the time, platforming was good, but sometimes I felt it was a bit iffy due to the paper artstyle, not anything approaching bad however. My largest complaint would have to be that you can't skip dialogue or the camera pans that come with it, but this is a minor issue in the grand scheme of things. This game is fantastic and easily worth full price.
Fun little game, just finished chapter 4. The artstyle reminds me a lot of Paper Mario, specifically Super due to this being a platformer. The humour reminds me of the classic Neptunia games and the gimmick is reminiscent of Kirby.
The game is fantastic! I had so much fun playing it,and each chapter left me with unique memories! That said,I'd love to see full-body artwork of more characters I also absolutely love Nicola's chase scene;the music is fantastic
