Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.14/day in the week to Aug 26 → 16.86/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This game offers an interesting take on the 4X strategy formula, by allowing You to construct and evolve Your cultural identity throughout the whole gametime. Just because Your people became the Olmecs in ancient times, does not mean they will remain as such once knights and castle come along. Nor will the English always launch satellites, simply because they discovered the New World. And choosing Culture is not the only way to personalize Your story. Throughout the game, Your peoples identity, tracked on four separate axis (Individualistic - Collective, Homeland - Global, Liberty - Order, Tradition - Progress) will be shifting, as You adopt new Civics, respond to narrative events and grow Your religion through new Tenets. Visually, You can see as Your cities sprawl out with new districts, especially those emblematic to given era. TL;DR: If You are looking for a strategy game that focuses on the emergent story, this is the best one. It is definitely worth buying if You are a fan of the genre looking for different take on systems You're used to, but I would also say it's a way better introduction to those systems than any of its competitors.

Amazing game. Used to love Civ but now I prefere HUMANKIND!
bien
pretty good game, need friends IMO but can def be played alone. A lot more fun with friends though (especially if u vassalize them)
le jeu méme en mode facile et injouable guerre obligatoire, temps de developement tres long, bref ma pas plut du tout
This game is by far the BEST Civ like game I've played and on top of that...it's GORGEOUS! The AI is FAR from being predictable, stupid or redundant. Humankind has a huge variety of maps, scenarios and play styles that require the player to adapt, plan and use the Embassy diplomatic functions to bend the game to the players will. The neutral cities are a much better tool. The city cap and adminitrative center attachments are so much more complex and a dynamic way to balance food/stability/faith/Influence/production and $$$. The in game progression through the ages keeps you stimulated and interested and the decisions the player needs to make feel impactful. I canno express just how long it took me to find a game of this type that I know will keep me hooked like Civ 5 did to the exception perhaps of Stellaris. The terrain and visuals are stunning and the love and effort put into this game are palpable. Worth Every Penny and I tip my hat off to the Developpers!

Not a civ game, still a great 4X
After playing Civilization 7, I can appreciate what a masterpiece this is. Everything is well balanced, creative, and visually stunning. They do a great job of providing the complexity of a 4X strategy game without overloading the user with details. The only thing I wish the game had was more reports and overviews for managing your empire.
i come from paradox and Civ6 and i have to say that Humankind is my favourite strategy game I think its very rich in its concepts and very creative, this thing with cultural traits and citybuilding gives every playthrough a sense of you witnessing/writing the story of some peoples. Also the neolithic age is incredibly fun and can be very tense. the games almost always devolve into a late game war with a powerhouse in another continent which makes the endgame feel kind of samey. and AIs gank up on you so the diplomatic system (bought through the TWR dlc) ends up being useless even if you aren't being agressive. stealth rocks, the naval rework was amazing and i absolutelly love the new trade system. thank you amplitude for this weird 4X, one of the most unique experiences i've had in gaming
