High Pace, delightfull game
I like it
Great visuals and aesthetic, cool idea. Gameplay is a bit on the simple side {in a good way}, and due to the lack of ability of turning down the extremely heavy visual effects, I had a permanent slowdown {playing with a mid-range to budget pc}, making it extremely easy and I was able to beat it in my second attempt. Still would recommend it, but think twice if you're on the lower end of hardware, you won't have a very exciting run.

Games kinda like if the mechanics of Hotline Miami and the Items of The Binding of Issac had a kid
*artsy* hotline miami
yes this is dog
HOUSE OF GOD is a nice 5$ hotline miami-esk game with lots of nice little item combinations. if it was more then 5$ i would not recommend this game as it is very short only about 10 minutes for a completed run i would expect it to be even faster if you had good rng or great skills. but considering its price it is a fun little game to play if you got money to spare
"House of God" is a short twin-stick-shooter-roguelike with great sound and gorgeus, trippy visuals. Aesthetically it is quite on the sensory overload side, which can be confusing gameplaywise (sometimes you lose track of your character and sometimes it is hard to tell if you got hit). Also it is light on content (3[+1] main weapons, 4 bosses, some actives, some passives, thats it), but I personally enjoyed these "shortcomings", because it is a refreshing counter to all the roguelikes(lites?) out there with tons of unlockable stuff. Here you just boot it up and hope to get to the ending, which can be tricky, but fairly managable. For 3 bucks an easy recommendation for genre fans that like the weirder stuff!

It's fun! Pretty cool little roguelike, reminds me of Hotline Miami. Unlike most roguelikes, the enemies are NOT braindead. They're kinda smart. They wont just rush you and instead they'll move towards walls and cover eachother while they try to flank you. 8/10! for the price, 10/10.
