Pretty solid game overall.
So much fun and so many Highway 35 and Acceleracers vehicles.
Awesome game, open world instead of menus is a welcome improvement. Enviroments and cars match the Hot Wheels brand. Top notch experience overall.

Quite fun, lots of variety and the open world adds a lot to do while driving around. Soundtrack is amazing, as well as the sound effects; although they are a bit buggy on multiplayer. The price is not justified i would say, bit too expensive for what it is, specially considering they are selling a couple DLCs (and probably more to come) You can probably get 40 hours of game if you want to 100% everything.
Boring open world and bad dev choices. Splitting the race into 4 categories was not a smart idea since you must learn 4 types of cars which is quite annoying (especially online) and switching from 1 to another can be confusing. Moreover the handling is somehow worse than the first Hot Wheels release, I had a better feeling with Unleashed than Infinite Rush (particularly the drift). Not worth the 50 euros price tag at all
Genuinely good, the first unleashed was incredible. Unleashed 2 Felt like a cash grab. But this is an easy nostalgia play and the open world is a nice touch. Hopefully gets kept alive for more than a year this time.
Uses epic online services so i cant play online with steam friends in an in game lobby intentionally The menus are extremely finicky with a controller, tapping the stick of d pad has the menu cursor move rapidly Sometimes the game thinks the a button is stuck being held and keeps using my boost when Im driving, never had any problems with this controller In the 1st city area, some of the track layouts are garbage because there arent constant checkpoints throughou the track and the player can easily make cuts that the ai wouldnt. makes the game really easy depending on the track and i get the daredevils are showdown races, but if I lose and tail the car in the open world for another minute i should get another crack at it without hoping to find the car roaming Only bought this at launch to see if the online will have a little life at launch, not a $50 game
Horribly boring. The open world maps are dull at best and obnoxious at worst. Constantly you have to drive across the map so you can find the entrance to one of the terrible raised orange race tracks. Open world with no fast travel is a horrible decision. Roads are all unbelievably wide making every race feel the same. It feels like there are more real world cars than Hot Wheels cars. AI race opponents do not give any effort even on hard difficulties. Handling feels slippery and terrible. Drifting feels offensively bad and I feel angry every time the game forces me to do it for a mission, especially when it's a car type that isn't drift. After visiting all five islands the game already feels over. Everything afterwards feels like padding. The game doubles my controller inputs and I can't fix it no matter what I try. And to top it all off, the game crashes if I turn the graphics above low. I regret spending any money on this game, let alone the insane $50 price tag they are charging.
