I got this free on EPIC and found it so fun when I saw the GOTY version was on the Holiday Sale I couldn't resist getting the whole package on STEAM breaking my never buy racing games rule. I found this so fun and full of nostalgia I just had to pick it up. I don't normally buy racing games because I typically get bored fast, lose at multiplayer and never finish the base game. I've already beaten half the map and gotten first in online racing. The amount of customization for cars, tracks and your basement is great! Keep in mind it is what I would call an Arcade Racer. The actual race mechanics are not deep and will not scratch true racing or simulation type of experience but what it lacks in that regard it makes up for it in fun. Honestly it's a 10/10 for me. Runs great on my aging PC, looks great and is fun as hell.

Alot of Fun! I played this together with my GF and it's awesome: SPLITSCREEN! Really Fun Tracks! The driving feels arcady but not too easy, really rewarding. Once you get the hang between drifting and boosting you feel unstoppable. Gets really hard later on (Time Trials) but never unmanagable Great Introduction to Racing games for Newbies (Diffculity scales well) Highly recommend this one

Has a dumbass gacha system and the vehicles all feel like ♥♥♥♥ to drive
The physics are terribly glitchy, their feels to be little/no progression, the mechanics feel quite snappy and janky. I got this on sale for $8 and it still wasn't worth it. Immediate refund on this. Before I even get into the game I'm getting fed loot boxes and DLC, this is a disaster... Keep far from it.
PROS - Fantastic fan service for Hot Wheels fans. - Huge collection of beautifully detailed vehicles. - Creative track designs and charming toy-like visuals. - Easy to pick up and enjoy casually. CONS - Racing gameplay is enjoyable but not particularly outstanding. - Feels more like a Hot Wheels collection game than a great racing game. - Progression can become grindy if you're aiming to collect every vehicle. - Event variety could be better. VERDICT HOT WHEELS UNLEASHED™ succeeds more as a celebration of the Hot Wheels brand than as a standout racing game. If you're a Hot Wheels fan, the massive collection of iconic cars and nostalgic presentation make it an easy recommendation. But if you're looking purely for an exceptional arcade racer, there are stronger options elsewhere. 6/10
This game is great, there is a decent amount of extra content and car customization. The races are very interesting as well.
