Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4.5/day in the week to Jul 21 → 4.6/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

From divine speed to tech-powered tricks, every character brings something different to the battlefield. Their strengths shape how you play, and the rest is up to what you find along the way.
Unlock powerful perks mid-run and earn currencies to buy permanent upgrades back at HUB. Mix and match upgrades to suit your style, and build your own flavor of divine destruction.
After each chaotic run, you return to your home base. This lively headquarters is where angelic blueprints are drafted, cakes are sliced, and tea is definitely preferred over coffee. Chat with quirky NPCs as you regroup, unlock permanent upgrades, and prepare to dive back into hell even stronger.
From chunky shotguns to nail-spitting rifles and boom-happy grenade launchers, every weapon feels unique. Each one packs a punch, looks cool, and delivers comic-style chaos with attitude.
Each level is themed around a different Deadly Sin, with hand-painted environments, stylized hazards, and comic-style effects. From crumbling ruins overflowing with gold to wrath-filled lava chambers, every setting cranks up the absurdity. Combat stays fast and flashy, delivering chaos with a chuckle.

Sums Steam only; GOG publishes no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

★★⯪☆☆ - Holy Shoot or Holy Hell ? According to the developers, Holy Shoot is a fast-paced, roguelike-style FPS. Regarding the fast-paced gameplay : while double-jumping and dashing are possible, the enemies aren't very aggressive and the levels are largely horizontal, so you’ll rarely actually use these moves. As for the FPS aspect, there is very little weapon variety, and aiming is imprecise (sometimes you shoot at enemies but they take no damage). Shotgun or handgun? It makes no difference; the range is the same. In any case, the heavy machine gun is the best option. Regarding the roguelike element: like many games in the genre, progression is slowed down by removing the skills needed to win. You can only win by unlocking them (a process that takes about two hours). You do acquire power-ups during a run, but there are too few of them, they lack synergy, and, regardless, once you reach the mid-game and unlock everything, you simply steamroll through everything. Consequently, there is no real progression curve (or gameplay choice). On top of all that, the game is riddled with bugs, lacks optimization, and suffers from a lack of variety (and distinct identity) in its design and environments. The weapons lack any sense of impact, and the sound design is unpolished. The only good point is that the game is short. Verdict: So why the recommendation? Because, even though the game has a huge number of flaws (reflecting a lack of polish and even a rushed job), it remains an FPS that I enjoyed playing. And for just a few euros, it’s hard to fault the developers for the work they actually delivered.

I'll be blunt and to the point. It's very hard to recommend Holy Shoot to anyone.. The screenshots and videos make it look like Roboquest or Gunfire reborn, and its in the same vein as them. But Holy Shoot has nothing going for it? The gameplay feels stiff, jank and basic. Bugs such as enemies spawning under the floor happen constantly. The handful of voice lines in the game (such as bosses) are literally looped every 3 seconds to the point where I dont know how anyone thought that was acceptable. Game crashes at launch with Intel AI Boost (had to google and disable in the device manager) The game is playable, and the devs clearly put some effort in, and its not a friendslop game. I believe this is their first published game? So it sucks to be so critical, but even if this game was free, I just dont think its worth playing and I say that as someone who loves this genre of FPS roguelike games.
Играется как демка игры, а не как релизная версия
Just started, but my first impression is that the game has a lot of fun ideas and elements for meta-progression and in-run upgrades. But it just feels "off" compared to the others in the genre. Gunfire Reborn, Roboquest, etc... they are just smoother with tighter hit boxes and snappier combat. Idk what it is, but Holy Shoot just feels like it's a little clunky/janky and the hitboxes just don't seem right. Maybe I should give it another go, and I likely will, but there are too many good games in the genre. If you have already played the top dogs in the genre, then maybe this will be fun for you.
Overall good game but needs some refinements
if you love fast paced, fps roguelites worth grabbing it. especially if its on sale
great potential, just needs more content. Gunplay and movement feel good. It gets a bit repetitive after a few hours.
I got 100% of the achievements in 2 hours. the game is not optimized and lags sometimes. the game is worth 3 dollars at most.
When you started to play it with fast movements and trying trickshots it becomes a much more fun and satisfying game.
