Brilliant game. One I keep coming back to for a bit of a relax. Thrilled to see the sequel is in the making. Don't be fooled be the hand drawing. It's a fun relaxing game.

When I saw the announcement for Hidden Folks 2, which seemed exactly like my type of game, and learned the developers are from my home country, the Netherlands, I knew I had to play the first game. And I did. It’s very simple, but that’s part of its charm. I loved that everything is hand drawn, and the sound effects are hilarious. They really made me laugh. I really enjoyed my time with Hidden Folks. Some levels were quite challenging, and I had to use a guide a few times, but that never took away from the fun. It’s a cozy game that helped me relax after a long day. If you enjoy hidden object games, you’ll probably enjoy Hidden Folks too. It also works great on Steam Deck.

This is very casual. But still quite enjoyable. As the levels grow bigger, finding all the searched items/people is becoming harder. But the most relaxing things are the hand drawn style and most of all the men-made sounds. And the way you can interact with many things (or even have to in some cases) is also very lovely.
