Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Jul 30 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
The dogs finally unionized and made their own HOG
Dog lovers, your time has come! After an endless parade of hidden cat games, somebody finally handed the dogs the microphone. This review only covers the base game, as I'll tackle the DLC separately. I'll put it simply: this isn't the biggest, longest, or toughest hidden object game out there, but it has a goofy little personality that makes the hour fly by if you're looking for something light and relaxing. The premise alone was enough to make me smile a bit: a bunch of dogs deciding they've had enough of cats dominating the genre and setting out to make their own game. The structure is very straightforward. There are 15 levels spread across 6 different areas, and for most of the game you can choose which location to tackle next. Each map contains dogs and bonus items to find, with progress saved automatically, a reset option available and a whistle-based instant hint system. I really enjoyed that one since instead of directly revealing the answer, it places little exclamation marks over remaining dogs. It's quick and, as far as I could tell, doesn't interfere with achievements. Add in fullscreen support, resolution options, audio sliders, multiple languages, and even a warning before exiting the game, and the QoL settings are solid for such a small project. The biggest issue is difficulty, or more specifically, the lack of it. Most levels contain somewhere around 15 to 25 dogs and a dozen side items, but the maps are very small. Once you've found most of the targets, deduction does the rest because the remaining empty spaces become pretty obvious. HOG veterans will likely breeze through everything. The zoom system doesn't help either. You can zoom in, but only at a fixed level using the magnifying glass or right mouse button. There's no mouse wheel zoom and no way to fully zoom out, which feels restrictive given the size of the maps. Tracking collectibles can also become annoying because once all dogs are found, a completion flag appears on the area select screen even if you're still missing side items, leaving you to guess which map needs revisiting. A few smaller issues stood out too. Some achievements are locked behind the DLC, which completionists probably won't appreciate. The onboarding screens occasionally felt more confusing than helpful, and in the fete level, some dogs hidden behind objects seemed mixed up with items instead of appearing at the end like in previous levels, though I'm not sure whether that was intentional. A brightness slider and an optional timer mode would also be welcome additions. And for players who dislike finding nothing but a tail, nose, or tiny fragment of an animal, consider yourself warned: this game loves partial dog sightings. Oddly enough, because the overall hunt is so accessible, it bothered me far less than it usually would. For me, this game is worth a look, but preferably with a deep discount. The content is a bit pricey for roughly 1h of gameplay, the challenge level is very low and the achievement situation may frustrate completionists. But the funny atmosphere, unique hint system, plus the possibility of future content (including Weenie's dream of a princess-themed project) give it a lot of potential. If you're happy with a short, cheerful dog hunt and don't need your hidden object games to fight back, there's plenty here to enjoy. Humorous take on the dogs vs. cats hidden object games, with a lot of levels and some decent difficulty in getting 100%. Very easy to find yourself saying "OK, just one more level". All in all, a well done and relaxing "find animals" (and other objects) game.
First of all thanks to the devs for giving me a code for the game and this review is on behalf of the group Game uses Ai. This is a very sweet game with many cute dogs and i love the silly sounds they make when you click on them, the art is really great and so is the music, it has a cute little story and id like to imagine that its how this game came to be, its not a hard game but it is very fun and rewarding i recommend this game to anyone who still loves genuine human made art. Thanks again to the devs that made the game and gave it to me for free much love to you all.
Love this game - really addictive and love the artwork, would be excited for new levels! My kids enjoyed playing it too.
While it's quite difficult at the start, the game gets easier as you get the hang of it. The sound effects are a 10/10, making the experience much funnier and more engaging. There isn't a ton of replayability, but the first playthrough is incredibly fun. Overall, it's a very enjoyable game.
Super calming and of course...DOGS!
I LOVE THIS GAME!!! Please more hidden dog games! This was so frickin cute and sweet! I loved the story line and the art!
This is such a sweet little game. I've not played many hidden object games before because I can find them frustrating, but the very cute scenes and gentle storytelling made sure that this one kept me enjoying myself, and I really appreciated features which features like a dog whistle to help you out if you just can't find a few pesky remaining dogs! I felt rewarded for exploring the scenes carefully with lots of little thoughtful touches - for example
we see one of Weenie's ancestors posing with an exotic looking bird above her fireplce, and then later you can find the bird nesting up in the roof!
I chuckled a bit at the premise being dogs wanting to... develop a game! There's a joke that writers often make their protagonists authors because they like to write what they know. I think this is a fun example of that!
