Hidden Cats: Magic Forest

started playing this game thinking it was gonna be chill 2D vibes… turns out it’s 3D and suddenly i have no depth perception or survival instincts 💀 i was having a good time until i hit the quest: 1 black cat, 5 white cats, 5 orange cats. sounds easy right? wrong. i found most of them, even tracked down the last black cat like a detective in a crime documentary… but then my brain just clocked out. i was running in circles for like 20 minutes questioning my life choices. then my partner walks in like he’s been summoned by my incompetence. i hand him the mouse, slightly defeated. BOOM. man finds the cats in like 30 seconds. and i’m like “HOW???” and he goes, dead serious: “i was thinking… salem likes to drink near flowing water, so maybe the cats are there.” sir???? this is a VIDEO GAME not a wildlife documentary 😭 but the worst part? HE WAS RIGHT. i’ve been outsmarted by a man using real-life cat logic in a pixel world. i’ll never recover.

It's always a gamble to buy a game on sale . I can't even recommend this game on sale. GIVE this mistake a wide berth !!!

I absolutely loved playing this game! The graphics are beautiful, and the ability to not only zoom in but also rotate the world 360 degrees is a fantastic feature. The music is lovely, and the ambient sounds of the forest really add to the peaceful atmosphere. The cats and other items are fun to find, and while some are easy to spot, others are cleverly hidden. I managed to find all the cats and tree trunks (plus a few surprises along the way). There isn't a hint button, but I noticed that the last few cats emitted smoke or bubbles, which helped me find them while cruising back and forth. I ended up finishing the game, but I noticed I'm missing 4 achievements, so I'll definitely be coming back to this peaceful world to see what else I can discover. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and charming experience!

In general the game is quite cute, but the controls are awful. Getting stuck every two seconds because the game wouldn't let you move the camera in a certain way is really annoying. It's a cute, but buggy game, that needs a lot of work!

Unfortunately, the game controls are (or at least feel) very buggy. That really spoiled the enjoyment of the game.
