There were so many cats.
I got this game as part of a bundle for $1.50. I wouldn't pay full price for it as is, but it was still a fun time for a snowy afternoon. It does feel a little like an 'achievement hunters' game and it lacks replayability (though you can clear the levels and do them again, so that's something), but still a good time. As for the hidden object part of things, I liked the first two puzzles for how they filled in as you went and the extra puzzles for the "hidden" cats - but I really wish those two mechanics had been used in all the puzzles from the start. Not only would my eyes have been thankful for the disappearing bright white background, but what made the extra puzzles fun was seeing where the "hidden" cats popped out of. To complete it, it says I played for 2 hours, but the last 45-50ish minutes of that was finding the people in the last puzzle (much harder than the cats, honestly), finding the last cat (hidden by the hud!), and having to redo the first puzzle for the achievement because I clicked the hint button the first time wondering what it was for (thought it might be to zoom). My one and only real annoyance with this was the hud being in the way while you're trying to look around the top of the puzzle. It can and does hide things underneath it, which gets really aggravating. In a game like this, it should be moveable, or something that's optionable preferably.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

While I liked Hidden Cats in Christmas a bit better, this one is fun as it has a randomizing mode. Makes for much better replayability. It appears that it is only one puzzle at first, but you will unlock several other small ones and one large one at the end. These hidden cat games always get me. I like cats. I like Hidden Object Games. Easy buy. Especially to play around the holidays!
Hidden Cats in Santa's Realm

Time Played:
2.5 Hours
Last Played:
4th of December, 2025

Seeing as how some Christmas gaming was needed, Fanatical's gods send of a bundle gave me just what I wanted in the form of this, and on getting it, I almost-immediately dived in to see how it differed from the other 2+ “Find the Felines” series.
Yay:
+ Immediately festive on booting it up. + I loved the art + Not only does colour exist, it comes in after finding all cats in an area (at least on the main level), acting as a guide to what you need to look at. + I loved finding everything, only to have it filled in. + Multiple difficulties add replay-ability. + ...and add another thing to find, while unlocking bonus levels. + Music was immediately wondrous, magical, and befitting of the season to me. + Achievements came fast, and were satisfying to me. + Some motion is present, where the others only had static images. + This is used to good effect in the bonus levels, as the only animated areas are the ones you need to click to have a cat appear. + I very much enjoyed said bonus levels, too. + Noticeably better presentation than the other games I've played like this, while also being way longer. + While this took me until the final level to realise, if you zoom in on an area where you've yet to find a cat, it will meow to signal you're in the right place.
Meh:
~ Bonus levels only splash with colour on finding all cats. ~ Final level had elements always obscured by the HUD, so having the option to hide this would have helped.
Nay:
- While the rest of the game, its light-hearted tone, and elves of all colours being present (at least in the bonus levels) makes me think those involved with its creation were unaware of its racist-to-(Always separate government from people, people)-ethnic-Jews origins, Krampus appears as an entire race in this.

Verdict:
Notably better, and higher-quality to me than both the “100 Cats”, and “Hidden Cats” series, doing things I've not seen from either of those, while keeping the charm, and enjoyability of those, while also taking them to multiple levels, having you find more than just the titular animal, and remaining engaging throughout.
Placed in:
2: Amicably-Approved
Super cute relaxing game! Not hot on the final collectathon level haha
I loved all the levels so much :)
