hexurb is a badly made Unreal Engine based ripoff of a simple Ninteno Switch block placement/tile matching game called Dorfromantik. The game, just like Dorfromantik that it's ripping off, involves somewhat careful placement of various tiles on a 3D rendered 2D hex grid. The tiles are themed to look like various parts of a city so you can pretend this is an actual real strategy game instead of some mobile tier garbage. Guess what? It's still mobile tier garbage. The game features lazy low-polygon "retro" assets, making this look like a barely functional 3D game from the 1990s. It's unclear why the developers weren't able to arrange high quality, high polygon count contemporary assets for the game, and also irrelevant... what matters is that this looks bad as a result of their decisions, a compromise PC gamers shouldn't have to put up with. They're all written in either Russian or broken English, appear at almost exactly the same time, very shortly after the game launched on Steam, all have a direct Steam purchase of the game, and the accounts are used consistently to write fake reviews for asset flips and other cash grabs/scams. The "Positive" review score on this game should be disregarded due to this blatant, unethical review manipulation. This is done to deceive and scam gamers into paying for a bad product. hexurb has an overly optimistic price of around $5 USD, it's not worth it given the defects and shortcomings with the product, especially considering the sheer number of completely free, much higher quality games on Steam. If this is really the game you want to play, play Dorfromantik, it's been ported from Switch onto PC. Or play Cities Skylines or some other real city building game instead of this crap.
