The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse lurk in the shadows before you. They are Death, Pestilence, Famine, and War. They are the root of all that is evil, but the least of your worries. The last of the three Serpent Riders yet lives.
Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I gave it up for the same reason like Hexen 1.. Overcomplicated level design.. too easy to stuck in progress and need to do unlogical things to go further.. unfun weapons.. I just pass on this one too.. You can spend hours without a guide on each map... This is not fun, I gave it up after 12 hours playing.
I can't recommend this game, but that's not to do with the game itself but Id & Steam's handling of this game. It will not launch. Period. It isn't your settings, your GPU, or what version of Proton or Windows you're using, the executable is broken and known to be broken. How they have the giant stones to ask a fiver for a 29 year old game that is broken is beyond me. Especially when there is an available community fix. Someone needs to pull out their copy of Claude code and fix this since we're laying off developers left and right, or Steam should delist this. Money is being collected for something that is known not to work. It's only the fact that it's so well known not to work that I don't call it outright fraud.

[th]Aspecto[/th][th]Puntuación (0-10)[/th][th]Comentario[/th]

Most underrated game ever. One on the best id tech quake engine games ever if not the best... However... Selling this on steam should be illegal. Its really old doesnt have proper support for ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ anything, but the worst part is that you GET ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ NOTHING WITH THIS! 5 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ DOLLARS AND I DONT GET ♥♥♥♥, NO EXPANSION AND NO MUSIC AT ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ALL WTF?? HOW CAN YOU SELL A GAME THAT IS MISSING HALF OF THE GAME. Buy this if nightdive does a remake/remaster otherwise dont bother.
good oldschool game
The movement is a little wonky, you feel a bit squishy against the bosses, and the areas can be a little cryptic, but it's a great game to play. Highly recommend the whole Heretic/Hexen series in general.
Short Review
If you didnt absolutely love hexen 1 you wont like this. Gameplay is more akin to quake + hexen, but with the hexen twist of giant confusing maps and hidden switches. This game is even more hard and obscure, plus the environment style does not change that much. The game before had various locations that atleast try to look different from each other. And this version of the game is also bad need patches and overhaul plus patched music.
Still one of the GREATEST FPS/Adventure games ever made, created well before Metroid Prime. It's a shame they don't have the expansion (Port of Praevus) for it on here. I still have my CD for it, I'd love to be able to put it up so other gamers could experience it but whatever. Fantastic game just like the original, one of my favorites. Just be wary in episode one, sometimes it glitches and the shovel doesn't spawn and you could get stuck (just use clipping cheats if that happens). Try this game if you get the chance, for 5$ it's a damn steal, they even have a demo for free you can download to try it out!
Why take Heretic and Hexen off sale. ♥♥♥♥ you.
