Heroic Aegisio: Origins

By far one of the most interesting Tower Defense Games I've ever played. Upside: This is not your average TD game where you simply ruush through the levels. The replaiablity this game offers is immense due to the huge number of unlocks and possible different tactics, but also due to it's high scaling difficulty. You never run out of things to do, but it seldomly feels grindy, because you always unlock new stuff and learn new Tower synergies, item combos, etc. that feel like fresh and interesting new ways of playing the game. Vview has created something beautiful here and those who played the WC3 map before know how much dedication he put into this. The best thing is due to this being his game, he no further has to live with any limitations WC3 might have laid upon him. Downside: 1. First of all: Bugs: There are still several of them, but the most tremendous are usually fixed in a day. View regularly reads and engages with his community on Discord and reacts very quickly. This doesn't mean that the game is free of bugs though. Some are still quite obvious. Some are hard to reproduce and some can simply ruin your gamne (UI suddenly freezing, not allowing you to build towers anymore or merge items). As I said the really problematic ones that hurt the game experience with more than just a detailed Tower page not going away until you click something else are fixed very quickly though. 2. Content(or the lack of it): Of course the game doesn't offer the huge content HoGTD offered in WC3. But this game is in it's first season and for that I personally think it offers a lot. Some might argue the successor to an existing game should always offer more, but as someone who works in IT myself I can tell you that you also need to test and balance everything you add to such a game and that can take aeons. Currently there are a few towers missing from WC3 and you can't invest as much farmed materials as you could in WC3, but I am sure there's a lot for us to come if we just be a little more patient. 3.Balancing: Some strategies are currently not as good as others. To say it clearly: Red Demon sucks :D While some Gold-Tier Towers can carry you easily through Easy, Normal and Hard difficulty, others are simply garbage or require extremely great Items to halfway work. It's not as bad as it might sound as every Faction at least has 2 of their Gold-Tier Towers being absolutely playable and it's possible to win even Extreme Difficulty with them, but there is still some rebalancing work to be done.
